Wedding Flowers - Afloral? Need input please! - SUMMERDAWN's Pink Wedding by Color Blog

I've finally sold my cala/orchid flowers and I'm looking at ordering anemones and peonies from Afloral.com. Has anyone ever ordered from here? Were they decent? They seem pretty cheap so I'm afraid they'll look cheap as well?

**Added** What are your thoughts on making "flowers" from chiffon and burning the edges up in colours similar to the anemone to still have the look? They would kind of look more like ranunculus flowers but with the colouring of an anemone? I haven't really seen any bridal bouquets made this way, but the flowers look so cute on little girls headbands! lol!

I ordered from afloral in the beginning of my plan process when i was trying to decided between real or silk.

I was very pleased with them, the quality was good, shipping fast, and closers pretty close to pictures.

i would suggest ordering 1 or 2 of the flowers you want before place the big order. To look at quality and color. I was looking for hydrangeas and they had varying sizes. I order a few different sizes I noticed that all the sizes weren't the same quality, shade, or manufacturer. While they all were good some were better than others and they weren't the same so it would makes difference when mixing

I'm looking at getting the white dahlia's for my pomanders...I made one from some that I bought from Michael's (also on my blog) and it turned out AMAZING, except that each flower was $5 and each ball took 14 flowers...so that adds up pretty quickly!

Ordered some anemones from Aflorals and was not too happy. They definitely look fake, so I was hesitant to use them for my bouquets or boutonieres, but they were ok to use for hairpieces and toss bouquets. I'm sure some of the higher priced items have better quality though. Hope that helps :)

Thanks morningglow! That kinda sucks to hear, but better to hear it before ordering a whole whack of them! Did you try to return yours? Their return policy seems pretty good! Did you buy them from some where else then?

no, I didn't try to return them, I figured I'd find another use for them. Also, I wouldn't have gotten a refund on the shipping, plus I'd have to pay for return shipping so it wasn't worth it. I ended up going to Michael's and buying some of the nicer quality flowers they have, and tried to get some of them during sales or with their coupons, however they weren't anemones.

Here's a Toronto based company that another WBC bride found. They sell premade anemone bouquets, etc. but they are pricey. They're Toronto-based, so shipping would be easy:

Yikes, so I just went to go order one flower from afloral, and they ship all their Canadian orders by fed-ex and you have to pay $15....so all said and done I was paying $20 for a $2.50 flower....not gonna happen! :S

Eww that is ridiculous! I just ordered feather bouquets and pomanders and boutonnieres from etsy instead! I'll post pics today! I didn't want to take the risk from Afloral if the anemones look ugly! haha
