Candy buffet
My hubby is a huuuuge candy lover so when I started seeing these pop up I mentioned it to him but he wasn't too pumped on it until we attended his cousin's wedding and they had one and he demolished it. So, I brought it up again and he's pumped at the idea now. I'm so happy because I want this to be a huge focal point at the reception. More so than the cake even. I have BIG ideas for this. I'd looove any feed back about where to get different sized vases? I will be ordering the candy from candywarehouse.com it's unreal how much candy they have on there and you can shop by color too which I love because our table will coordinate with our wedding colours. And another bonus, their black candy is not all only black licorice flavor!!!!

How long did you date before you got engaged?
2.5 years Did you get the ring you wanted? Exactly what I wanted, I showed him my three faves. He got the one he liked best and it was also my top pick! Was the proposal a complete surprise? Kind of, I knew it was going to happen just wasn't sure when! Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small? It's perfect! I love it!!! Did you cry when he proposed? Of course Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you'd like. I think it was romantic and very cute! He hid it under my pillow Christmas morning, I didn't find it until late that night When do you want to go for your honeymoon? We were supposed to have a "weddingmoon" in mexico, so now I'm not sure! White gold channel set princess cut diamonds that match the engagement ring for me. Wedding Rings And Jewelry
I loooooooove my rings!
Solitare is tension set, floating diamond. 1/2 carat with almost another 1/2 in channel set sides. My favorite part is seeing the bottom of the diamond. Wedding band is another carat of channel set diamonds.
When my hubby proposed he hid my ring under my pillow Christmas morning and acted weird all day...Told me he was sorry and hadn't gotten me anything yet. Bent down to tie his shoes and looked up at me with a big grin when we was on one knee....And as I laid in bed waiting for him to change to leave for Christmas dinner teased me asking if he should just give it to me now and then laughed! Then after a long day we laid in bed talking for half an hour I said goodnight and rolled over, and as always put my arm under my pillow and felt a box! Then I made him turn on the light and started crying and he asked if I would marry him! I was soo mad that I had even laid down twice throughout the day and not noticed it!!! |

Flowers
I looooove my flowers! Theyare white calalillies and cream orchids. We had these made with real touch artificial flowers to be able to take to our first planned destination wedding in Mexico.
Now that we are not having our destination wedding, I'm not so much feeling the rafia and seashells. My flowers are all already done as we were supposed to be married in Mexico in December. Do you think I would destroy them to remove the shells and raffia and replace the tulle with some feathers maybe? I will ask my florist if this would offend her as well...She was a very loyal client of mine when I still had my business as an esthetician and wouldn't want to offend her. I still like the look of these, I just would like to get away from the whole beach feel since it's not going to be on the beach anymore. Should I even attempt to do this, or just leave it be? I don't even know if feathers would look good with this style!! HELP? |

Our wedding has been postponed twice already! The first was supposed to be in Mexico but swine flu hit. The second was planned to be on my Dad's farm but my future father in law was injured in a car accident. So now, we're planning the third wedding still to take place at my Dad's!
