i got makeup done and everything and then the photographer said it looked too gray to take them.
the next time, she missed the appointment.
the last time i couldnt find the right dress and the one i wore made me look prego after all that, AND i couldnt afford makeup AGAIN. she gave us a discount but still... and we ended up booking her just to get those pictures included in the package... :(
second appt, she went to the wrong location, supposedly.
third time, she showed up, but i had no more money for makeup, etc.
i totally understand where you're coming from. hopefully everything turns out well. good luck!!!
