Wedding Rings And Jewelry
CZ Engagement/Wedding Rings?

I've been thinking about purchasing a Cubic Zirconia ring set that I could wear when travelling or doing activities where my rings could get lost or damaged. I only took my band on our honeymoon because I was worried that since my engagement ring has a high setting and spins a little on my finger, it would get lost in the ocean or snagged during one of the tours we took. It sounds silly, but I missed my ring all week!
So, has anyone purchased an inexpensive CZ ring with any luck? I don't want it to look fake! Also, if anyone has any suggestions about where I could find a ring in a size 4 or 4.5, that would be wonderful!
thanks ladies!

I was debating this too, because of my job. You can check my blog, alot of ladies had great advice, I think QVC, and Overstock.com had the best ones. But I've gotten distracted since then and haven't had a chance to follow up!

both me & my FH talked about this too..but only because he got the wrong size..and it twists around a lot. I need to take it to get sized..but our local Macy's doesn't size the ring in-store..so they would have to send it away :( and i'll be without it for at least a week or so. We wanted to get a CZ ring while its away..we've been engaged since May..and I havent parted with it yet lol

I was going to suggest QVC, HSN or overstock. They've all got great CZ styles that looks nice. They're not super cheap - they'll be in the $100-$200 range. But if that's what you want, then go for it. You really wouldn't need to worry about it while you wear it because if one of the stones falls out, it'll be super cheap to replace it.

I believe on QVC you can get one set in white gold - which would be easy to size - as your finger is tiny.

Yes.What my FH did was bought me a wide silver band to wear
when we're out and about. We found a nice one on Overstock.com
at a reasonably price. And I also mentioned to him about a CZ.
You should be able to find nice ones in Macy's,Dillards and some jewelers may have them too. Also if you're not to embarassed check to Pawn shops.......Grrt deals there too.
My friend got a 1.5 marquise for $500.......:o) GoodLuck

My hubby wanted me to leave my ring behind on our honeymooon and I told him NO WAY! lol  I still want just a plain band to wear around the house or doing things so that I don't have to worry about the diamonds.  Monikas had a really good idea about Pawn shops.  Especially in these times where people are trying to get money however they can...someone I knew got their ring from there and it was appraised at over $1600 and they paid less than $600.  So you still get a good ring, just not at the price.  Check out etsy.com  perhaps they have rings on there?  They most everythign else.

I have a beautiful 3 stone "Past, Present, Future" engagement ring that my husband proposed with.  I am a dental assistant, who has to put on/ take off gloves all day.  I was afraid of damaging my engagement ring, so I bought myself a cubic zirconia to wear to work.
I ended up buying a very similar "Past, Present, Future" ring at Fantasy Jewelry Box, after looking at A LOT of online retailers.
I LOVE IT!!!!!!
It's cubic zirconia, and the band is sterling silver, that is Rhodium plated.  I wear it everyday to work, where I'm constantly washing my hands and putting on/ taking off gloves.  It's holding up GREAT!  And I only spent around $38.00.  This was the total price, including tax and shipping.
So try FantasyJewelryBox.com .  They have a huge selection.  And compared to places like QVC and HSN, they have very favorable reviews from customers.
I think you'll be really happy :)

Good luck and happy shopping!!!

Thanks for all the input, ladies! I've found a few I like, but I'm putting off purchasing it for a bit so we can pay for more important things first.
