I was browsing online for some pictures for a great subtle smokey-eyed look and I stumbled upon this...

Ask a Question
How does the marketplace work?
I looked all over trying to find the best way to do it, but I couldn't find anything. Do most people use paypal or some other way to exchange payment? Pretty soon I'm going to post a bunch of frames, leftover place cards, my veil and some other stuff I'd like to sell. If you have any tips, please let me know!
Thanks : ) |

Wedding Ceremony
Recap
Until the ceremony started, the day was uber-hectic. The night before
I realized that the streamers I ordered for our ceremony exit never showed up... so as soon as the doors opened we were in Hobby Lobby buying wooden dowels and pink & white ribbon for Ribbon Wands. We put together 150 of them THAT MORNING! The whole time we were worrying that we wouldn't get them done before the hair people showed up, but they ended up getting lost and didn't show up until an hour after their call time.... My mom was FREAKING OUT about us not getting to the church on time to meet the florist, so we were super rushed. I completely forgot to pack tons of stuff that I needed and was not very pleased when I got to the church and realized that I forgot the letter I wrote to Matt to read right before the ceremony. Other than those three things, everything was fine. If I could do it all over again, I would 1. make sure the hair stylists have my phone number and my maid of honors (that's why I wasn't mad at them for being late, I really should have made sure they had this) 2. have everything packed and ready to go the night before. The ceremony itself went really smoothly. All I remember is that my bouquet was sooo heavy! I could not wait for the pastor to give me the signal to hand it off to my MOH. I was so worried I was going to drop it! After the ceremony, we had just a few more little snafus. After the girls decorated our getaway car, I asked if they parked it right where we came out, and they said they did. However, by right in front of the church they thought I meant in a parking spot lol. So when we did our big exit there was nowhere to go! Kind of embarrassing, but no biggie. ALSO, apparently I hadn't been clear with the plans right after the ceremony, so while us girls were all packed and ready to leave, the guys still had their clothes and stuff strewn all over their changing room. I had planned on leaving right after the ceremony, but we ended up having to go back and help the guys clean up. So a good idea would be to make a timeline and give to give to your groomsmen & bridesmaids so everyone's on the same page. I totally wish I would've done this. These little things were the only issues that happened all day! The rest of the day was a breeze and everything was sooo amazing. Look how cute their dresses are! ![]() I got their necklaces for super cheap at Forever21 ![]() My hanger ![]() My Shoes ![]() Let me in! ![]() Blessing of the Hands ![]() All done! ![]() These worked out even better than the streamers would have! ![]() Okeydokey, up next will be the pictures we took at some botanical gardens in between the ceremony and reception. |

Sneak Peaks from our Engagement Shoot
![]() The week before the wedding we FINALLY got around to doing our E-shoot, can you tell we're major procrastinators? Last night we met our photographer at the Illinois Indian Boundary Prairies. I knew she was gonna be great, but she really is phenomenal. She helped us to feel so comfortable and not scared at all. It was actually really fun! Here are the sneak peeks she posted to her blog last night: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If you're looking for a photographer in the Chicago area, I highly recommend Danielle Aquiline. She's so sweet and incredibly talented. http://danielleaquilinephoto.blogspot.com/ |

DIY Wedding
Placecards
Here are the finished confetti placecards! I just have to finalize the
seating chart and then write all the names and table numbers on. Overall this was a really easy DIY. The only sucky part was running back to Hobby Lobby a million kajillion times to get more paper, then to get more brads, then to get even more paper. Other than that, real easy and not too time-consuming! I also am making paper flowers to intersperse around the cards : ) |

Wedding Hair Style
Pics from my Hair Trial
Mkay, so we tried two different styles during my trial and I liked/didn't like different things about both. Here they are:
Numero Uno ![]() Numero Due Thoughts: For number one I really like the front and the back, but I think I'd like the back to be a bit more full (which I'm sure she can do) For number two I am NOT a fan of the poof. Bit too Snooky for me. So if I did this style, I would definitely have the front look like the front of the first one. I like how intricate the back is, and how cute is it with a bow! (I wouldn't use that bow though, I'd have a simple white one). *I showed the future hubster (after I almost passed out seeing that there's only eighteen days left!!!) and he said he definitely likes number one best. I was leaning more towards that one too, so that's how it'll be on the Big Day* |

Wedding Hair Style
Ideas
I'm having my hair trial tomorrow, and these are the pics I'm taking
with as inspiration. The photo over there <------- is my favorite so far. I've always been a hair down kind of girl, so I'm not sure if I should go with an updo. I might give it a try, or just have it look like that in the front and then down in the back (maybe like the pic with the bow). We shall see! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
