Wedding Planner
or how I get to go to Seattle to look things up!
I'm going to Seattle to get my hair done (because no one does it here in my small, small town), and I thought it would be a good idea to talk to wedding planner I've been chatting with, as well as a few others I might be interested in. I am super excited because it's Seattle, and because I will be alone (even though I'm suffering major separation anxiety from my baby boy), my husband will none the wiser.
Did I mention it's freakin' Seattle? To all my Seattle brides, is there any recommendations you have for vendors/planner/venues/etc? I would greatly appreciate it. You know I'll definitely be posting the details once all the meetings are said and done. |

Wedding Dress
The Bride Wore...a Lehenga Choli?
In getting ideas for what to wear to this renewal, and quite honestly, I don't think I've found anything traditional that suits my fancy.
However, I found this Lehenga Choli on an indian bridal saree website and I haven't been able to get it out of my head. I could even see myself wearing bangles and mendi with this outfit. My husband could wear something simple, like a dark navy suit or something, and I could wear this number. I've contacted the company, and they could make it in my size. Isn't it gorgeous? |

Ask a Question
Can a wife plan a wedding without her husband's knowledge?
I don't know, but I will certainly try.
My husband and I have been married for two years, and have a nine-month-old son who we love dearly. We were married in a private ceremony in Alaska in July 2007. I hated that I missed out on having a ceremony with my family, even just my immediate family, so for our fifth wedding anniversary, I am rectifying that. With an intimate wedding bash in the city we love, Seattle. I'm giving my family and friends two years to plan and save, so we can all be there together. I've already got a planner in mind for the details, because as much as I'd love to plan this from far away, I don't think I'll be able to. I need the help. So now, the one thing I ask is...is it possible to plan a wedding in two years under my husband's nose? Probably not, but I will still try! |
