We are having a violin duo during the ceremony and I have no idea what songs to request they play. Any ideas for songs played on a violin duo? I am having a hard time figuring out any. We really like I Run to You by Lady Antebellum. It sounds great, but we need other songs too.

Wedding Favors
Apple Butter
We decided to make small containers of apple butter as our favors for our guests to take home with them. The wedding is being held in Blue Ridge which is one of the most known areas for apples. Growing up here we always had fresh homemade apple butter around and I couldn't think of a better gift for those traveling near and far. We also received the great surprise that our wedding planners are going to prepare them for us as a gift to us. We are very excited!

Beautiful Calla Lillies
I visited the florist with my wedding planners one day and I was taken back by the calla lillies. I always thought I would only have wanted roses for my wedding but when I saw them, I knew I had to have calla lillies. Especially since I could get them in our colors the deep purple and ivory. My girls are going to be carrying ivory since their dresses are purple and I will be carrying deep purple calla lillies mixed with roses since my dress is ivory. I know it will be beautiful I can't wait to see it all put together. We will also have an arch above us during the ceremony which will be covered in calla lillies, roses, and hydrangeas. It will be beautiful! My wedding planners bought me a bouquet of each while we were at the florist, here is what they will look like.

The Dress
Ok so I have bridesmaids that are all different sizes I mean literally. I had the hardest time finding a dress that I knew all of the bridesmaids would feel comfortable in. I finally found the dress and they will match the guys perfectly. Our guys are wearing expresso tuxedos with purple underneath so I think it will look awesome. I decided on this perfect Alfred Angelo also becuase larger sizes do not cost anymore, for most of the other designer dresses it cost 20-30 dollars more for larger sizes!

Wedding Reception
Coffee Bar
My fiance and I have always enjoyed coffee and conversation together. The first thing we did after he asked me was go to Starbucks and get drinks. It was romantic to us. Every morning we drink coffee together and enjoy getting to spend those few minutes together before we get our hectic day started. Since our wedding is in late October and it will be quite chilly, I thought it would be great to have a coffee bar with a barista to make drinks for everyone. Also our family does not drink a lot of alcohol so this is going to be our alternative cocktail hour between the wedding and reception. I am having the hardest time finding somewhere to rent a cart or host it in the north Georgia mountains. I would greatly appreciate any input or help in finding a vendor. We would also serve hot apple cider and hot chocolate. Just in case some are not coffee drinkers.

Great Guest Book Idea!
Ok ladies, I saw this and I absolutely love it. This is the new and upgraded digital polaroid. It is awesome, I am totally ordering one of these for the wedding. The pictures print out as 2x3s and they already have sticky backs. I am going to get a blank scrap book and have people take a picture of themselves put in in the book and write a message next to it. I love it because you get to capture the moment and look back at it for years to come. Thought some of you might appreciate this shout out. Check it out at polaroid.com!
Update: Ok so I found the printer on sale at Target and thought I would just buy the polaroid printer and it can be connected to any digital camera to print pictures instantly. Since I already own 2 digital cameras the printer only cost $38. I was very excited! I am buying a scrapbook and we are going to have guests take a family picture, place it in the album, and write us a message next to it. We will be able to look back at the special people who attended our wedding for years as well as their messages to us. |

Personal Pies
Ok so here is the deal, my wedding is going to be in november, so I thought it would be nice to make personal pies for each person (minature pies in other words) as a take home favor. I am sure the out of towners will especially enjoy this treat later back at the hotel. I need help figuring out how to make over 100 minature pies in pecan, pumpkin, and apple. I mean I know how to make the fillings but how do I make them minaure size? I have heard you can use muffin tins, but I don't know. Just thought maybe someone on here had done this before. HELP!
