So I have decided my colors... Burgundy (or something like that) with a bright green... here's the inspiration...

I will try to make this a short story... So Ben and I have know each other since we were like 14... We didn't know each other that well but would always see each other in hockey tournament and baseball (I have many guy friends...)

During that time, I also knew his sister (Ben is2 years younger) who was the same age as me. We were not the best of friends because basicly we always liked the same boys!!! (ahahhaha makes me laugh when I think of it).

In cegep like in 97 she was dating a friend of mine... so she started hanging out with us.. and we got along great!!!! Something funny that my friend Sylvie remembers is us girls going to Anick's (my now to be sister in law) place and I saw her brother (Ben) and I told her... your brother is cute.. and she said... don't even think about it!!!! lol

so, now in 2002... I am on the internet one day (I was online alot) and I started talking to this guy.. ended up it was Ben... We don't exactly remember the details but I went to meet up with him a the track where he was training. We hang out for the afternoon but that was it... Who was supposed to call who or what.. no one knows!!!

So, in like 2006, I got in the facebook thing.. again, saw Ben online (we found out that we worked for the same gov. department) so we became friends... but never really talked to each other!!!

it's almost over...

now, in 2007.. one night I was online and I saw that Ben was... for I don't know what reason, I him... right after, I was registered on a dating site and wanted to cancel my profile. So I logged in and saw that I had 1 message that was sent to me 1 minute ago. I opened it and I saw his picture... At first, I was sure that he was pulling my leg but I realized that I didn't have a picture on my profile... I just LAUGH so hard....I went back on facebook and him a bit saying like .. sorry... it's not the love of your life... it's just me...

We kept talking ok... I kept venting about men... poor guy.. I can't believe he kept talking to me... so after about 2 hours of chit-chatting, we decided that we should do something sometime.. so we decided to do something the next day... Seriously at first, I didn't even want to go.. he was younger, my friend's brother.. ya know.. but my roomate told me I should go... he actually almost ordered me to go... so I did... and since than my love for him just keeps growing day after day...

I actually got this dress for $650 including taxes.. and it's brand new from a bridal shop.. it's worth up to $1800 .. How did I get it.. Bridal show dinscout sale... for ladies in Ottawa, it's the wedding show that is held in March and September at Landsdown Park...

And here's the story behind it... I went to a wedding show back in January and some bridal boutique were handing out flyers or postcards to promote their store. I had gotten a postcard from this store (which I didn't really notice) but I loved the dress that we on it... and I told my friend that it was the type of dress I wanted... and I just kept staring at that dress on the postcard... Well this is the dress!!!

I was trying on another dress in the fitting room and I saw this dress (I didn't realize right away that it was the SAME dress) the lady was going to put it back out cause it didn't fit the previous girl. So I aksed to try it on.. and it was a PERFECT fit... nothin to do... the perfect size!!!! The lady was looking to find the price and meanwhile I told my girlfriend that it reminded me of the dress on the postcard... when the lady came back, she came back with the price and the postcard... I couldn't believe it!!!

So there's the story behing my beautiful dress.

I am not set on what color I would like my flowers to be... But, I do LOVE pink... so here are some that I like...

I am sooo anxious to get my ring back... it's actually with the jeweller to be sized... but here it is ...

We have also picked out our wedding rings...

Here's what I think... I am having my girls pay for their own wedding dresses... the 5 of them are pretty different. So my thought... have them pick a model that they like as long as it's the same color...

I wanted a color that all my girls would like.. Chocolate would have been perfect.. but when I was thinking about it, I could not picture the groom and the guy wearing a black suit with brown accessories... and I know my fiance want's a black suit... so Burgundy to me is a great compromise... and I am sure the girls will love it!!!

Ok.. is is just me or the more you look the more confused you get.. There are so many color schemes that I like that I don`t know what to do anymore.. the good side of this.. well I still have 1 year to go...

My basic color will be a burgundy not exactly brown but that`s the only color I am sure I want.... but for the 'accent' color... I like blue, green and pink...

I would truly like to have all of those colors cause I do plan on getting married only once.. Any advise????
