Floral purses
I came across these adorable FG purses. Aren't they fabulous? My two FGs will look like little divas carrying them down the aisle. I don't want them throwing rose petals, so I don't think they will need to carry baskets. I do like the way the pomander/kissing balls look but I wanted something that the girls can use again. These purses would be great to hold their hair accessories and costume jewelry. I'm going to try to make them. Wish me luck! :)

In love with these centerpieces
These centerpieces are perfect for me. I love the simplicity of it and it captures the romantic ambiance I want to set. They will be either in purple or in ivory color and will be alternated on every other table. I may add a ribbon with a brooch or wrap a rhinestone band around the vases. Now I just need to find out the cost for them. Wish me luck that they aren't expensive.

I found these lovely colorful ties that would look great with black tuxes. Some are a bit pricey so I may have to check elsewhere for something similar. I'm going to show these to my DH and get his opinion.

Groom's suit
My DH came across this suit yesterday after having a meeting with the bridesmaids to discuss about planning a Jack & Jill Shower/Bach party. He's the best man for his friend's wedding and had some extra time to kill while the ladies were having their dress fitting. So, he went next door to Men's Wearhouse and this suit caught his attention. He would like to buy it instead of renting so he can re-wear it again for other occasions. His words for describing the suit is "classic and Hollywood" I love it! He's leaning toward the black one so he can wear a platinum or pewter colored vest.

Wedding has been postponed
We have decided to postpone our October 2011 church wedding due to financial issues. We wanted to have it on our 5th year wedding anniversary but decided to push it back a few years. I'm bummed about it but I'll eventually get over it. Extra time will allow us to save more money for the kind of wedding we want. We may be moving to another state in a couple of years and would like to buy a house as well. I'll still stick around here and support my WBC ladies :)
