Brides relaxation
The guide to a relaxed bride

I have noticed that all brides on this site are very stressed (in one way or another we all are) so i have decided to put a list together (from various sites) on how to help you relax or take a day of to enjoy yourself. here are a few suggestions

(1) Treat yourself to a pampering. As wedding stress mounts, make an appointment to get a pedicure, massage or facial. It may seem selfish, but doing this gives you something small yet luxurious to look forward to.

(2) Draw a bath. Once a week, indulge in a warm soak in the tub. Light candles, play soft music or simply enjoy the silence - invite your fh in for some "down time"

(3) Do non-wedding related things. Read a book, go for a hike or plan a weekend with friends. It's easy to get wrapped up in wedding details, but calling a time out and engaging in non-nuptial activities is healthy.

(4) go shopping with the girls.

(5) Have a sleepover - it may sound childish but it will be fun. Have your girls over - have a few drinks and snacks, dance in pajamas and go out shopping the next day or for a mani/pedi.

(6) have a date night with your fh. He may not be involved with all the planning but he is missing the quality time you two had together before the planning. If you are on budget - stay home cook dinner together while sipping on wine. Surprise him with a massage or a piece of langerie.

(7) go cake tasting (even though you may already purchased a cake) go food tasting (even if you have a vendor)

even though the planning and constant worrying and stress will occur at least try to do one of the 7 things every 2 weeks. I hope this helps you all in some way - Im going to a food tasting tonight ")
