I had my eyes set on this dress since I first saw it way before I even got engaged. I wanted a simple but classic dress since I want to wear a lot of "bling". The dress has no beading or lace but I loved the pleating and the corset back. I tried on so many dresses in different styles and I was always drawn back to this one. I got this in the same color as the picture (Champagne) and in Dupion Silk. I ordered it back in January so I'm hoping it comes in around May.

I spent months looking for a flower girl dress that was similar to mine. This flower girl dress from Eden Bridal was perfect. I love the pleating on this dress, its similar to what I have on mine.

I order this dress from Maxine's Bridal in Stockton, CA (our flower girl lives in a different city from us).

I had such a hard time looking for a garter. I found this one from Perfect Details (www.perfectdetails.com). I bought a much cheaper one ($2.99) as a toss garter.

I wanted to give my H2B something special. Something that his friends will drool over and he could say his lovely wife gave it to him for as his wedding gift. Well, I found that special something and I think I did pretty good. Since he gave me such a gorgeous e-ring, I had to do the same.

I got him (drum roll)...a Breitling Airwolf watch from their 2008 collection. Yes, it cut my shoe/bag budget for a year but it was well worth it. He deserves the best and I'm lucky to have him.

Marc surprised me on our 3 year anniversary while vacationing on the island of Maui. To celebrate our anniversary, I planned various activities throughout the day.

Schedule:
11AM: Visit the Iao Needle in the Iao Valley
1PM: Wine tasting at Tedeschi Winery
6PM Watch a show at the Maui Theatre, Ulalena
8PM: Anniversary dinner at Roy's Bar & Grill in Kahana

After dinner, Marc suggested that we walk along the beach to walk off the food we ate. I agreed, not knowing what was about to happen.

As we strolled along the Kaanapali shoreline, Marc walked me to a spot in front of 3 palm trees. With the ring in his left hand, Marc turned to me and held both of my hands.

Marc said: "I know we had our good days and bad and sometimes you drive me crazy but I brought you here to ask you to be my wife." Marc got down on one knee and asked "Will you marry me?"

I was speechless.

Marc said: "You didn't answer my question."

I replied: "Oh! Yes, sweetheart I will marry you."

I lifted Marc up from his knees and hugged him. We sealed the deal with a kiss.

The Ring: It was dark on the shoreline so I didn't get to see the ring on my finger until after we walked back to the resort.

When we got back to the villa, we ended the night with a bottle of Dom Perignon (Vintage 1995) and fresh strawberries.

The proposal was perfect! I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

When I saw these, I couldn't pass these up. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try them on.
Well, once I tried them on, I felt like Cinderella. If the shoe fits, buy 'em!

Since we're having our wedding in Vegas, we decided to do something different with our wedding favors. Instead of having the ever popular Jordan Almonds or personalized M&Ms. We're giving our guests personalized shot glasses. In fact, one of Marc's hobbies is collecting shot glasses. He has well over 100 glasses from different cities and countries such as Hawaii, New Orleans, Washington D.C, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc. to name a few.

I got these from Discount Mugs (www.discountmugs.com). I ordered them last year before their prices increased. The shipping was pretty expensive but they all came in one piece, no broken glasses.

I found this phalaenopsis orchid bouquet from Yvonne Florals. I plan to have the Bellagio create the same arrangement for my bouquet.

My maids will be wearing a Silk Chiffon Beaded Strapless dress from BCBG Max Azria and Stuart Weisman or Delman shoes.

The dresses are no longer available in the BCBG stores, but you can find them on ebay for $120.00 (retail is $420.00)

We've having our wedding ceremony and reception at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, NV on August 8, 2008 (8/8/08).

I was lucky to call the hotel when I did because the chapel was nearly booked and it was Sept 2007. There was only two slots left!

The coordinators and staff helping me with my wedding planning are fabulous!!
