Engagement
Looking for engagement rings

In Sydney, looking for engagement rings is expensive and extremely time consuming. Most of the people I know are starting to become engaged around me and are slipping tips here and there to me in how to choose the right ring for me. My hands are some-what similar to that of a small child, so large diamonds look very strange and are over-whelming. I love princess cut diamonds with diamonds spilled over the band, but what size carat is too small? My mother doesn't want me to get anything smaller than 1 carat, but boy is that huge! Can anyone recommend some lovely jewelers or any advice?

Sydney Bride I think you should go and visit all the most expensive places in Sydney to find out the style. Just ask them what they think.

Then I guess th caret depends on how much you can afford or want to spend. But you can get the style from a more expensive place and then go to a cheaper place and get the style.

I didn't get to pick my engagement ring as it was my mother in laws and it is very different. Not a normal looking engagement ring. So that is what I have been during my my wedding ring as I had no idea. I am going to buy them from a place in Hong Kong where my aunt gets all her rings. They have been valued when getting back and worth about 3 times more in Australia. It is a little scary but as only getting to send photos and things on email.

Good Luck
