I am so excited! It was a long road to find my dream dress, I'm guessing over 100 dress and many times of thinking I'll never find it as well as I never thought I would get that feeling that everyone talked about when you find "THE DRESS" but I did. When I first put this dress on I was so happy and I felt amazing in it, no tears, but there wasn't anything about it I didn't like about it, and let me tell you, that was a first. I went back a week later with my mom and mom in law to be to show them since I planned to buy it the following week at the trunk show. Each time I tried it on I got more excited and I even teared up. I bought it this past Saturday (exactly 9 months to the wedding) with my mom, mother in law to be, and 3 of my bridesmaids. I was really nervous to hear the girls response. Other dresses I put on they would ooo and ahh and then I put the one on they were all speechless. We were all teary eyed and the girls said they got shivers.
It was a great day, we stopped at two bars afterward to celebrate. We were given a free shot at each bar from the bartenders because we shared our great news with them.
Later that night I met with a florist. It was so much fun, she came to my house and brought flowers to play with, threw together a bouquet and I got to keep it along with a nice little vase she gave me.
Two major things checked off the list in one day!
