Good Morning,
I've been stuck on this dress since I first saw it. I did take some girls to try it on back in July and it didn't give us the wow factor but I still love it when I look at this picture. Has anyone had this dress for their bridesmaids? If so do you have pictures of it? I'm wondering if we didn't like it because it wasn't fit to the girls or if it was something else. All my girls are different heights and sizes and the reviews for this dress are great. My other reason for wanting this dress is because I want my personal attendent to wear the short version because I want her to feel and look like she's part of the wedding party. Anyone with personal experience? |

I feel so lost and like I will never find THE dress.
I've been to 5 shops and tried on at least 10 dresses at each one and still haven't found the dress. can you please look through these pictures and tell me which ones you think look best on me? Things I really like are beading and sparkle. I want some on the bodice, a soft sweetheart neckline, corset back and detailing on the bottom of the gown and train. I really like the scalloped edging on the bottom of the gown also, but I want something a little different then everyother white gown out there, just that little something that you do not see on every dress. and I'm not a fan of the pick-ups. Any ideas? thanks for any input you have. sidenote: how do I put pictures in the text section of the blog so you can see the pictures larger and in a row? |

Anyone heard of the "3 Day Diet"?
I came across a post that had this diet and I'm wondering if anyone has done it and has it worked for them.
Three Day Diet Must be followed directly Lose 10 lbs. in 3 days 1st Day Breakfast: Black coffee or tea, 1/2 grapefruit, 1 slice of toast, 2 tbls. peanut butter Lunch: 1/2 cup tuna, 1 slice toast, coffee or tea Dinner: 2 slices any type of meat (about 3 ozs.), 1 cup string beans, 1 cup beets, 1 small apple, 1 cup vanilla ice cream 2nd Day Breakfast: 1 egg, 1/2 banana, 1 slice toast, black coffee or tea Lunch: 1 cup cottage cheese, 5 saltine crackers Dinner: 2 hot dogs, 1 cup broccoli, 1/2 cup carrots, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream 3rd Day Breakfast: 5 saltine crackers, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 1 small apple, black coffee or tea Lunch: 1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice toast Dinner: 1 cup tuna, 1 cup beets, 1 cup cauliflower, 1/2 canteloupe, 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream The diet works on chemical breakdown and is proven. Do not vary or substitute any of the above foods. Salt and pepper may be used, no other seasoning. This diet is used three days at a time. In three days you will lose 10 lbs. After 3 days of dieting you can eat normal food, but do not over do it. After 4 days of normal eating, start back on the three day diet. You can lose up to 40 lbs in a month if you stick to it. Remember: DO NOT SNACK IN BETWEEN MEALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've read lots about the Paleo diet and I can't seem to understand what I can or can not eat, but I want to eat healthy. I'm also confused because this diet says no snacking and I usually hear to eat several times a day, which one am I suppose to do? Any tips or advice on how to eat healthy, how often and what portions? |

Catholic Church is $450 reasonable?
Good Morning,
I just got the paperwork in the mail from our church to sign up for our premarital classes and information about the day of the wedding including the note that says the fee to have our ceremony there is $450.00 Can anyone tell me is this price reasonable? How does it compare to your church fees? |

 1333 looks like it has less beading on the bodice and I can't see the detailing of the gown 1333 i love the back of this dress. These are the details I want (corset back and sequence on the train) and the pc mary's dress does not have them 1333 less detail than the pc mary's dress 8014 pc mary's dress detail 8014 plain back 8014 I love the front of this dress       |

Has anyone seen this dress in person?
Has anyone tried on or seen the Private Label by G 1333 dress in person?
This past weekend I went with 4 of my bridesmaids, my mom and my mom in law dress shopping, it was a lot of fun with everyone there, I got a lot of great opinions and it was nice to have a girls day. I'm pretty sure I found my dress (PC Mary's 8014) beacuase everyone starting tearing up when I had it on and they added the veil and I felt so pretty in it, I didn't want to take it off. But there were a couple things I want different on it. The price is only $558 so I thought I could have a seamstress make the changes for the extra cost. I want a corset back and a little bit of sequence on the train maininly so when it's bustled it's got a little sparkle. But, I was looking around and found a dress on the Private Label by G website that looks almost identical to the PC Mary's dress but has the back that I want, this dress I could get for $790.00. My question is has anyone seen the Private Label by G 1333 dress in person or do you have pictures of it because the pictures on the website are not very appealing to me. I can't see the full front maybe it's because it looks like there isn't a crinoline under it which hides the detailing. How similar do these dresses look to you? I really love the front of the 8014 dress, do you think I should just make the alerations to that dress or go for the 1333 dress with out seeing it in person? It's really hard because I can't find the Private Label by G dress anywhere. thanks |

I finally ordered our STD magnets from Vista Print. I've been waiting for a good sale and well they are 35% off right now and when I got to the checkout, it was free shipping, so I did it.
What do you think? they are only business card size so I hope they do not look to cluttered but we love our engagment pictures and wanted to use 3 of them on the magnets. Vista Print doesn't send envelopes with the magnets so does anyone know where to get smaller envelopes for these? Update: I just got these, It only took about a week and I love them. For $0.14 a piece they are really nice. The magnets seems a little thin I'm guessing other websites would have a stronger magnet, but hey they stick to the fridge and do their job! |

Wedding Ceremony

Ahh! It's so exciting it's finally starting to sink in now. We went to my cousin's wedding this past weekend (picture) which was at the same church we are planning on getting married. It was so nice, short and sweet, shorter than what we expected. The entire time I just kept thinking about how one year from now it will be us up there and everything became so real. So we finally sent in our "application form" that we've had for 4 months now. Now just to wait for that phone call from the priest to set up our first meeting. I'm so nervous but excited at the same time!
can anyone tell me what I should expect next? How many classes did you have to take or meeting did you have to go to, to prepare for a catholic ceremony? |
