I really like this...I got this pic from google, but it looks like an extra hoop skirt. But I don't want to wear an extra hoop skirt....sooooo I took my seamstress some black tulle, (because I couldn't find a light enough pink, and since my shoes are black) ...anyway. I told her to just sew on some layers of black tulle at the bottom to give this same appearance, where the tulle that is already on the dress is. It was hot enough having the dress on, there is no way, I was putting on another layer of anything.

Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Love this idea my dress is mermaid so not using a crinoline so I love your Idea I might just use it. Black is going to look so cute

Oh, that's a really good idea - to give the appearance of the coloured crinnie without the extra bulk or warmth. I hope it works!

i love these ideas. Everyones carolines look so good on here. Good Idea though, so you don't have to add extra stuff. idk what kind of dress im getting but im def going to keep all this in mind! =]

good idea. I had a new years eve wedding so the extra layer didn't bother me. i dyed mine pink in my kitchen.. and i also dyed the lacing in the back of my dress for my corset the same color pink.
