I bought socks for all the grooms men and of course the best groom ever. I thought it was super cute and that way no one shows up with white socks cuz I just might freak out if they did.

Attention ALL WBC Brides!
Important questions to ask before you walk down the isle
So my fiance and I attended a marriage prep class over the weekend and I think we were both a bit skeptical about what was going to be said to us.
To our surprise we both loved it. Not only did it make us sit down and talk about our lives after the wedding day but other important things in life. Some of the great questions that you and your FH shoould sit down and talk about before heading down the isel are: How many kids would you like to have? If you are unable to have kids would you adopt? Would you care for a child with special needs? Are you both able to support one another if one of you looses your job? Are you ok if one of you wants to become a stay at home mom? Who will pay the bills each month? How will you do this? Do you have a joint bank account? Why or why not? If one of your inlaws passes away what will happen to the remaining in law? Have you set away for retirement? Have you saved for colleges? Would you allow your spouse to return to school if they choose? Some of these questions were big eye openers. I think we should all ask these questions and see what answers we get from our FH's |

Do you hate Wedding Porn?
I love to collect wedding books, fold over the pages of ideas I like. Search the internet for hours for ideas and save them on my desk top.
I leave my wedding books everywhere with tabs and pen makers on circled items that I like. One day my FH was looking through some of the items and ideas I like and commented, " Do average people like us actually think that this is achieveable?" I looked at him first a bit angry that he was bursting my bubble. But he quickly recovered with, " I just mean, it's like wedding porn. Unrealistic for the average person. It looks great but it will never happen unless you have an unlimited budget." I explained to him that it was just to get ideas and them I began to think about it. He's right! So many of these ideas that I love I will not be able to afford them and the replicas will never look just like the images I save. So why do we oggle over these pics of inspiration boards and huge floral arrangements that we know we most likely can't be able to afford to do? |

So I've been trying to get all the gift together and have no idea of what to get our groomsmen as a gift.
I wanted to get them something that they can use after the wedding aswell. I already bought them a tie, pocket square and matching cuff links but I wanted to get them something else too. What are you girls doing? |

What is your something blue?
I ordered my garter on etsy. It's going to be my something blue. I didn't want to spend alot on one since you never see it and I'm not a big fan of the whole garter toss thing.
Actually I think it embarassing and tacky but my FH likes the idea so I"m going to do it for him. So here it is. My something new is my dress, my something old is a hanky that belonged to my grandmother my something borrowed i haven't gotten yet so I still have one to go. |
