Wedding Planner
Really, am I the only one?
It's been 7 months since the wedding.... and I always think back on "the" day at least once a day. I hope I don't sound too crazy... but I actually enjoyed planning it. The excitement, matching color schemes with everything, booking everything, taste testing, decor planning. Yes, I actually miss it! Of course, the wedding was not about the material things. It was magical for us. But, another part of me misses it and really enjoyed planning a really big party. A lot of newlyweds I spoke with could not wait until their wedding was over with. I, on the other hand, didn't want it to end, and felt it was too short... even though the reception was 4 hours! It was stress free and exciting.
A friend of mines keeps telling me to try to pursue being a wedding planner? At first, her idea made me laugh... but every once in a while the idea crosses my mind. Did you really like planning your wedding or you couldn't wait until it was all over? |

Well, everything went smoothly and perfectly! Even though I'd love to talk more of it, I know you'd rather see pictures. So here they are! These are my favorite shots.
Oh and just a little fyi from experience.... it's all about you and what you want. If you do what others say, you will not be happy. Go with your instinct. And don't stress. Everything falls together so perfectly. |

This girl is in need of some shoe advice...
The wedding colors are brown, black, lime green, and Ivory. I want to wear colored shoes.... but what color? I have two choices: green, or pink because i love pink! Would it be odd to wear pink shoes.... even though pink is not in the color scheme? Or should i just go with lime green?
What about you guys? What color shoes are YOU wearing? |

Wedding Dress
My love... my Maggie!
When I went dress shopping, I already had an idea of what I wanted. All the dresses I tried on just gave me that "eh, it's okay" feeling. I never really believed in that saying "you know when you've found the dress" until I looked in the mirror when I had this particular dress on. So, this is THE dress! It should be in around May, and it will be in ivory. I am pumped!!!!!!
Now i gotta get some shoes.... that's a WHOLE other story.... |

Wedding Rings And Jewelry
Hard Rock would never be the same!
It's a three-stone past, present, future ring. He proposed on September 29, 2007 the day after my birthday at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Biloxi. I actually picked it out, I just didn't know when he would do the actual proposing.
He did the whole got down on one knee bit. It was wonderful! And we were in private in our hotel room. Our whole close family was downstairs playing so it was perfect. Even my best friend that introduced us was there! After he proposed, we went downstairs to share the joy, then ate supper with everyone that was there. It was so awesome. I definately wish I can go back to that day. |
