Checklist
We're getting there!

1) Most important - venue and ceremony location - booked. See last post.
2) Photographer - contract in hand - need to send it back. Again, thank you netter! So happy with our choice! And got to reconnect with a high school friend. :)
3) Day-of-coordinator - Contract being forwarded today.
4) DJ - Booked. COntract in hand
5) Florist- arranged by day-of-coordinator so I can have a one-stop-shop -love those!
6) Baker - meeting up with a friend of a friend who does awesome cakes a bit outside of Toronto - any brides east of Toronto near Trenton, Belleville, Kingston area can check her out. www.katrinascakes.com - she is really reasonable and was referred by a really good friend of mine who says her stuff is incredible. Our friends live out in that area and have graciously agreed to bring our cupcakes in for us. :) She's super reasonable price-wise - I just found her yesterday. Have to do a tasting, but I totally trust our friends. :)
7) Invitations/stationery - Now that things are firming up, our Ontario WBC stationery expert Amy will be able to start on all our invites, etc. It's all coming together! :) :) :)

Thanks honeybee. :) I am definitely trying. I think picking my outfit will be the hardest part but I'm confident I will find something I love. Now, getting Mom to love it too will be more of a challenge - we have totally opposite taste. I want her to like it though, it's her wedding gift to me... cross your fingers it goes smoothly!

Yeah it is a relief. My head is spinning most days with all the stuff that is still left. But I know all the girls on this site know that feeling.

Hi, I was just reading about the baker you were going to meet- Katrinascakes. She looks great. We're getting married in Belleville and are still looking for a baker.. I was wondering if you had your meeting and tasting with her and how it went! Would you still recommend her?

Hey joeysgirl, I haven't actually met Katrina as yet. Been hard to coordinate schedules as we're between Ottawa and Toronto... But she does come highly recommended from very trusted friends of ours! And super affordable! I would def say you should contact her and see if she fits what you're looking for. Hopefully we get to that area soon to meet her ourselves :)
