It's been a stressful week. Some BM drama and it also just didn't work out with the sari I ordered so back to square one... I just want things to be done. Mark is kinda MIA on course and it's kinda tough feeling like the last priority when he's away on deployment, so I am trying to remain calm dealing with some family issues and just generally feeling kinda lonely..
Anyhoo, my mom is a yoga teacher, and she always talks about the calming effects of yoga. She is NOT kidding. It really works. It makes me feel like a million bucks. Also she started talking about the breathing techniques in yoga - pranayama - you can do these in your own home, or wherever you are when you get some time.
I know alot of us are stressed - some days/weeks are better than others, but I thought I would share since these are working great for me.
I wish my mom had a video, she has this amazingly calming voice. We make fun of her cuz she's so slow, but when you're sitting in her yoga class, it's awesome.
So in short - my suggestions - take a yoga class, you-tube a yoga workout, or pranayama techniques.. Here are some pranayama videos. I don't know how to post the actual video in here lol. Sorry!
