I opened the box that the mailman left and all i could say is OMG!!!! I def made the right decisi...
I FINALLY found a necklace and set and jewelry designer I like.
I knew I wanted something a little bit edgy, that pushed the bridal envelope a bit. HA HA! I found this designer on pinkpirate's blog - thank you darlin! She picked up a stunning set from this site and I contacted the designer as I really like her style. Eclectic, fun, and still elegant.
That is the designer's site. She has some stunning stuff. She has these statement necklaces that just ooooooze fabulosity!! I fell in love with this one. I know it's not too bridal as is, but she is using this as a base, and reworking it, and making a smaller, more bridal replica with rhinestones that sparkle lots (pic 2) , taking off some of the thicker chains and the hearts (losing a bit of the playfulness and casual look) and making a more bridal version of this necklace for me. Also smaller pearls than the 3 big ones since I'm just over the smurf threshold (Minx, if you're reading, that was for you! LOL)
Soooo... I am in love with this necklace and with Raquel's modifications and I am soooo excited for my customized set. This is sooooo much more me and I am sooo excited to see the final designs and try this on with my dress.
This is always the type of necklace that catches my eye and I am soooo glad I found someone who can design something that fits my vision! She is also custom making a bracelet for me! And the best part? it is HALF my jewelry budget!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!
So again, thanks pinkpirate for blogging this designer! Thanks also goes especially to Nidhal! I sent her a pic while sending her Paleo diet updates, and she helped me with the modifications necessary to make this more bridal! Nidhal, you have the best eye! Love you girl! You ROCK!
