Cool Guestbook Alternative
Possible DIY Guestbook - wedding puzzle

For all you crafty ladies, or just for ladies who love this idea, I just saw this guestbook on Etsy and think it's absolutely awesome!

You make a puzzle out of a wedding or engagement photo and the guests each sign the back of a puzzle piece. I think this is uber cool! The Etsy seller is a little pricey but it's a wooden puzzle and probably takes a ton of work. But maybe one of you uber crafty DIY brides wanna tackle this yourself?!

This may be a project for our anniversary party or 5 year vow renewal lol.

That's too original to handle! Oh my my my.... love the idea. Why can't we have like 5 guests books of various levels of wonderousness at our weddings??! My only reservation about this idea is the fact that when you make the puzzle, the messages are on the BACK and you can't really read them so easily as having them in a scrapbook or something. But if I could force my guests to write cute messages to us TWICE (or 3 or 4 times if I get those postcards and mailbox, as well as a typewriter lol) then I'd do it!

cute idea! .. Im with hannikay though .. once you put the puzzle together and display it .. you wont get to see/read the messages ever again! .. Im sure somehow this could be tweeked so that you can see the msgs .. maybe a little space on the bottom of each piece ??

Oh yeah that's true... I wonder if you could display it in a clear box somehow, again would need to be a DIY but you could build a cool shadow box with plexiglass maybe?

This is so neat! And then when you get mad at eachother, you smash the puzzle. As punishment, you have to put it back together. By the end....you're over why you fought. lol.
