Candy Buffet Questions

Okay so I am going to do a Candy Buffet. But I have some questions for you ladies.

1. What types of candy are you using?
2. How much do you get for 150 people?
3. Containers? I have thought about the chinese tak out containers, bags, treat boxes
4. Are you using jars? I saw a picture of one that did colored buckets. I thought that was a neat idea.
5. Are you making this you party favor?
6. Ared you just doing candy? I thinking I want to do the chocolate covered pretzels. The stick ones. MOH came up with carmel apples on a stick.

Can't think of any more questions right now. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

1-We're having an assortment , trying to stick to white, red and pink candies (nibs, swedish berries, jelly beans, conversation hearts, and a couple lollipops just for the look of them)
2-I don't really know how many all I know is our wedding is 120 people we're getting about 10 containers and filling them FULL and giving the coordinator extra so they can refill them if needed.
3-I'm hoping to get little white paper bags and I'll put a little stamp on the front of each one that just says "thank you" or something, I figure they look more like what you would find at a candy store. (and it's less expensive than takeout containers)
4-We're using glass jars, vases...  They're different shapes and sizes but they're all clear so that you can see the candy from a distance.
5-Yes this will be the favour:)
6-No we are also having our cake maker make us mini cupcakes which will go on a 3-tier dessert tray I got, we figure it'll fill up some more room, give guests something for the hungry guests that want more than candy and they just look pretty:)

carmel apples would be a great idea (just keep in mind the mess they make.
