We toured a beautiful outdoor venue in my hometown yesterday. It has almost everything we want- acres of beautiful gardens, a historical mansion to tour, a historical museum, and beautiful landscaping for photographs. I like that we would not need to bus the guests from the ceremony to the reception and that our ceremony would take place in a huge garden lined with beautiful trees.
The problem: September 24th in Virginia, is usually still warm.
But what if it's cold?!
What if it rains?!
What if, what if.........
Also, they will not allow bubbles or flames which is understandable because it is a beautiful outdoor location that we would not want to damage or burn down.
But the wedding will be at 5 pm and I was kind of wishing for a few candles at the ceremony and bubbles at the end.
It's gorgeous though, and the first place we looked at. We still have other places to tour, but with just about 6 months to plan we need to decide NOW!
