We have agreed or somewhat agreed of 2 things. 1. He is wearing a white tux, and 2. NO TAILCOATS :( I really like tail coats. But oh well. So here are 2 white tux's that I like. Lets see what Rob thinks.

going to have that dress in burgandy that hair style (Robert picked it out) and the necklace will be my gift to my brides maids.

OK well here we go. Robert and I met working at a movie theater, he is in charge of THE CAKE but I am in charge of the grooms cake. I was thinking of having a movie reel cake and then putting a special movie to the both of us as the topper. Example, first movie we watched (not at the movies) was finding nemo, or our first movie (which i know its bad but i forgot so i got homework to do) or something that we both enjoy, like star wars. Just an idea. Tell me what you think.


OH BTW, those who know me and Robert DON'T TELL HIM WHAT HIS CAKE IS, ITS A SURPRISE. I'M NOT ALLOWED TO KNOW WHAT MY CAKE IS THEREFORE HE CAN'T KNOW WHAT HIS CAKE IS.

Ok here is what I am thinking. Tell me if this sounds good or not or if I am just stupid. Ok. Robert and I can't figure out what we want to dance to. It has changed from "Stand by me" "Can't help falling in love with you" "When I said I do" "I swear" and many others. Right now we both say "When I said I do" but it will change, gaurenteed. That's just how we are. LOL. Anyways Robert came up with the idea to have the DJ decide. I am thinking no to that but its what he came up with. Any insight on it. Also I was thinking for the song that we have played for when everyone enters should be mine and his song "with you" by jessica simpson. Just a thought. Dancing to it is a NO because Robert can't dance except SLOW I mean SLOW, and even dance classes wouldn't help me bless his heart. I hate choosing the song to dance to because even though we are going to dance to more than one song when people ask what song did you dance to they mean the first dance, so its TOP PRIORITY to me. So any advice?

This is where we will be having our wedding at. It is located in Scottsboro, Alabama. Very very very pretty. When you go inside its so much prettier, its a dream come true.

I was thinking of having my bridesmaids wear this for their accessaries, and I would get it for them as their thank you gift, does that seem cool or is it corny? Becky this is aimed toward you, what do you think? (plus your the only one that will know what I am doing if it is decided to do this.)

I just want to know this. How many of you are seriously having to pay for all of your wedding yourself, with no help to hardly no help from family. I mean seriously! Robert and I have to pay for nearly everything ourselves, plus pay rent, plus pay utilities, plus deal with stupid stuff at work with them threatening our hours, and all that. I mean my dad will pay for the caterer, or so he says, which will be nearly 450, and my mom is paying for the honeymoon which is 140, but we are paying for our decorations, chapel, reception, cake, dress, tux, ring bearers tux, my sisters dress (she bought mine so i am buying hers), flower girls dress, accesseries, rings, flowers, and all the other stuff I have forgotten to mention. I mean its hard to do. We live paycheck by paycheck, and its hard to save for it. We spend nonstop on the wedding and our bills. Its discouraging. I just want some encouragement. I mean even though my mom and dad said they were going to pay, we dont expect them to because they let us down so much. So basically we are doing it ourselves. Not only that but we get paid on Mondays, and by Tuesday after we pay our wedding expences and bills, we have absolutely no money. Maybe we rushed in putting our wedding so soon. I know we can do it, but still its discouraging right now because of the money situation. I just wish our family would be more into the wedding like they were when my brother got married and roberts brother got married. EVERYONE was willing to help, but I guess since we are already married and now we are having our wedding no noe cares. I just hate it right now. I dont care, we are having our special day and its not getting canceled for anything. We got a lot of the expences out of the way. I just hope everyone will get into the spirit soon. Its killing me.

I have realized a problem that I didnt realize was a problem until just now. I care what other people think too much. What I mean is this. I will get an idea and immediately call someone like my mom, friends, brother, etc, and ask what THEY think instead of doing what I like. I mean its to the point that I felt like calling my brother up to ask what he thought of my honeymoon idea. It's MY honeymoon, (well when I say MY I mean me and Robert of course), not theirs and I shouldn't need someone else's approval for what I like because it is what I like not THEM. SO now as long as Robert likes the idea, I will do it, no more calling and asking what someone else thinks because its not their day. I will call and tell them what we are doing but not asking what they think. I'm over that game!

Ok this should be easy, YEA RIGHT. See we have changed our minds 20 times already and each time it was THE ONE. We wanted this that and the other then change our minds. How could a honeymoon be so complicated. I know what we really want is too expensive, so we got to imprevise. So what do we do? I know its up to us. First it was going to be in Mentone in a cabin. But we dont wanna do that because we would like to go out and do something. So then it was Gatlinburg, which would be nice, but we are scared of spending too much. Then we were thinking of Chattanooga. Well we cant find the perfect hotel and wanna stay clear of hotels and have a cabin. We say as long as we have a hot tub and jacuzzi we are happy, yet we arent. So I dont know what to do for the best part of the wedding, so somone give me good ideas for a place to stay for under $120 a night, near attractions, not more than 4 hours away from Fort Payne, AL.

My question is, am I supposed to pic out the hairstyles for my bridesmaids and their accesseries? I was in my sisters wedding and did not have to do so, but I am reading that I should. Granted my sister just had me, but I have 5 bridesmaids, so it will be hard to figure out what hairstyle would look good with 5 different hair types. So any help is greatly appreciated.

With all the "I dont like that color" to "I dont like the price" I found a bridesmaid dress that was $50 in the color I WANTED, and no if ands or buts. The second dress is the dress color I want, and my Matron of Honors dress.

Martha is my new sister in law.  The way she did her hair is how I will be doing my hair. She has the top part in like a bun and the back is curly and hanging down. Martha is the first 2 pictures, the others pics are what I am thinking of.

My sister made this bouquet with lots of love and this is why I appreciate it more than buying one from a store. Plus no one else will have one like it :)

Well, the day I got my dress was very interesting, but I must go into lots of detail. It all started because of a haircut. Yea a haircut. See Kesha and I went to the shopping center so I could get my haircut, but it had a "Back in 30 minutes" sign up. Well there was a dress shop right next to it. So I made the comment "Well Robert and I are wanting a wedding within the next couple of years so I'll just get the feel of the dresses". Well we went in and I saw on that I loved, but when I saw the size 3, I wanted to cry. So I asked the lady where the dresses were in my size, she pointed it to me, and she saw me looking in the sizes too big for me and showed me my size. When I saw it, I just said "Kesha watch Jason I gotta try it on." She said ok. So I tried it on and it was THE ONE. It was so beautiful. Kesha saw it and told me that yea it was the one. So I put my deposit on it and I am happy with it. So it all started from a simple haircut. Oh I didnt get the haircut either hehe. Oh and I told Robert about getting the dress and his reply was "Well I was wondering when you were wanting to finally have our wedding". So he was happy about it.
