Wedding Gift Registry
What's appropriate to ask for?

Hi there all you beautiful brides! I have a question I'm hoping you guys can help me with.

I'm getting married this March, but not celebrating it until May. We are going to Mexico in May with our families to have a beautiful ceremony on the beach, and when we return we will have a reception that all our friends and family will be invited to. I'm going to be having a bridal/bachelorette party before the legal marriage in March. So I was wondering if it would be ok to have clothing items on the gift registry? Like beach apparel; swimsuits, sundresses, tank tops, shorts. That sort of thing. For our impending Mexican adventure. What do you all think? I'm just not sure if people would think that's weird.

Thanks so much for any input!

I totally think adding clothes to your registry is appropriate. After all, the whole point is to get gifts that you want. If clothes are not the only thing you want I would suggest making an account at Myregistry.com. You can add clothes along with household items so you don't have to limit yourself. I used this for my wedding and found it very fun and easy to use.
