Alot has happened
Alot has been going on for awhile since I have last been online. Long story short FH and I decided to take a break from each other and the wedding drama.We saved a bunch of money and even pushed back to 2012.

Grooms Cake
FH don't want one
Fh and I was busy discussing wedding details and he stated he didn't want a Grooms cake at the wedding. He says its a complete waste of money. He stated he would rather get more food than another cake.
Is anyone else FH not wanting a cake? |

Venue finally booked
We finally crunched some #'s and booked a wedding venue.We went with option one with the ceremony at same location.The wedding date has moved up alittle,I got as clos to my old wedding date as I could, this place books up fast .Thanks again ladies for of all our help though that headache.

FH and I have been looking for a house for over 3 months now. I never knew it would be this hard. So far we have gotten outbid on 1 house and the other didn't pass inspection.Ughhhh I just want a house before the DAMN wedding. I'm done now ! |

I honestly hate buffets at weddings,It looks un-organized and tacky.So most def I will be having a formal seated dinner. I hope I dont offend anyone,just my opinion.

Wedding Reception
Venue: Back at square one !
Since my last post ,FH and I sat down and broke the venue that i loved down and its just to steep for our pockets. If you do the math u pay $50 a person for the reception with food and its just not worth what u get. Even if you bring your own cater its $25 a person.So for 200 people you looking at $5,000 for just a venue. But before I made the decesion to look else where. I called the venue to see if they would give us a discount . And they stated that they prices are very fair and we will not be able to lower the price. So today I will be going back to get my $500 holding deposit and continue to look for something more budget friendly.
I'm really considering a hotel, if get more bang for your buck! Atleast they give you a suite for the wedding night.I;m going back down my other fav venues and revisit them . Uggghhhhh wedding planning sucks big time. |
