Sooooo overwhelmed :S

Just starting the wedding planning met with the Ceremony and Reception venue this last weekend and decided to book them yesturday so its set our venue is picked The Inn in Okoboji . ahhh seems so crazy we also have colors picked Pink, Aqua and Black beach wedding. I just feel sooo overwhelmed in this whole process of what to do next :S

first of all CONGRATS! next, take a month to let it all sink in, look at magazines, gf's pics who've gottan married, then start collecting ideas of what you think looks pretty- THEN make decisions on what you want. It will all come together, but give yourself some time to mull things over, don't rush in and get overwhelmed, it takes time xoxo

Congratulations!!! I agree with violetprincess, take time and relax!!! There will be enough crazy later, lol. You're already off to a wonderful start with a color scheme and venue, those are two really hard tasks!!!! It may help to get a wedding planner too, it will tell you what is typically done at what time frame. Good luck!! :)

You will feel overwhelmed in the beginning, but that's normal. Just make sure you create a checklist or get one offline and get things done each month. It's good that you have your venue and colors selected. Make sure you stay organized :-)

wonderful news! Yes...take your time like the other ladies say!!! ALSO GREAT COLOR CHOICE...very similar to our colors which are teal, fuchsia and black! You will have a blast planning but it also gets stressful so take your time...because in the beginning...I was completely lost...confused...and I did alot of things I ended up changing towards the end because it wasnt my vision...so just take your time and I think you are off to a great start with venue and color. Congrats and best wishes!!!

thanks ladies :) yes i know i need to relax, just want to get all the big stuff booked and ideas plans im quit the procrastinator and sometimes not the most organzied person....sooo really trying with this to get all my things in a row...but THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for your kind words and advice I LOVE THIS SITE ALREADY :)
