Bridesmaids
found our bridesmaid dress :)

\sooo saturday the girls and I had a lunch date and I gave them their cookies asking them to be in our wedding! It was a great day we had lunch and then went to a local bridal shop to try on dresses I was some what dissapointed in the shop i tried on lots of mermaid style dresses but didnt find on with the straps and bling I love, I then talked to the seamstress and she told me she could take back out of dress and add a strap and criss cross the bling strap in back. Then they pretty much tried to make me buy this 1800 dollar dress and were really rude thing is I was not in love with it I liked it but not love. Idk what your girls budget is for dress but 1800 plus 300 in alterations is a little much. The girls tried on dresses and found one they really liked, untill sunday we went to DB ( had to go with my moh bc i am her moh) and 2 of my girls tried on this dress and LOVED it the picture does not give it justice! Sooo the saturday I am going dress shopping for myself again hoping I find something I love! ? for you girls is did you know u loved a dress the moment you put it one...i feel like ive tried one soo many and they are all nice but one isnt one i love over others...mabey its bc i have a picture of rhinestone back and i want that...ill post a pic of the back i want with mermaid style sooo i hope i find someting i LOVE that i can turn the straps and back into!!

First off girlie im so sorry your experience was so horrible with those rude people and i agree that is too much for a dress if you ask me

another thing my dress was the 3rd one i tried on and instantly fell in love with it my mom tortured me and made me go to other dress stores and try on different dresses but i kept comparing my dress to those dresses and just did not love them like i loved mine so we went back to the dress shop and got my dress i couldnt be more happier its my dream dress actually to me its more than ive ever dreamed of i just love it and i just had my first dress fitting the other day and when they brought my dress out i was in awwwwwww i didnt want to take it off it just amazed me that much

I guess what I'm tying to say is that you will know its your dress when you see it if it makes you cry then girlie its your dress my dress had me in tears thats how i knew dont worry you will know its your dress i'm wishing you the best of luck in finding your dress and i know it will be amazing :)

There were several styles by Maggie that I fell in love with .. So, I am still deciding on which 1 to choose. I am going to visit other stores to see what they have.

Each 1 that I tried on gave me the water works.. Maybe it is finally hitting me that I am going to marry my best friend..

You will know when you found the perfect dress for you =)

I had a terrible first bridal appointment too. She made a comment to infer that I "couldnt afford" the one I wanted to try on! when she didn't even know my budget!! I took my $$ and went somewhere else. I ended up getting a custom dress made.

I love the BM dress!! gorgeous!!

The bridal one though....looks like a prom dress to me. I mean its really blinged out, which is pretty, but there's so much showing that its tacky. For 1800 dollars, you'd think there'd be more dress to it.

Glad you didnt get sucked in! Don't purchase anything unless you know you cant top it.
