NWR: Just wondering...

I see some Bride's pages here with names that seem to be maybe combo names for couples, but some names I guess are nicknames? My name came from simply the color...but what is the meaning behind your name?

I came across these eye catching candy bar pics today. Just a little more inspiration for those of you setting up bars @ your wedding.

I like how in the 1st pic the couple used different color jelly beans to layer in the jars as a beautiful display, plus they also used cute letter bowls/containers to spell L-O-V-E. A nice alternative to the painted letters. And then the 2nd photo has a nice personalized approach to the candy bar with pics of the couple. So cute.

I absolutely love this site, & I completely admire every single bride here, due to our own individuality, style, & simply the sanity of putting our special days together.

As I've visited each page & blog, I often run across awesome ideas that I see posted on other pages. Now, I COMPLETELY know that at some point or another we are ALL going to have the SAME concept, theme, or even specific detail, but lately, Ive been seeing things on "certain" brides posts that I KNOW they completely took from another bride....without giving credit.

I am by no means the moral police, or the person to call others out, but I know that everything that we duplicate isnt always by coincidence. So, Im just wondering...can we please WOMAN UP here & give up the credit when we knowingly take something...sometimes verbatim...from another bride. Is it that important for us to pretend that we came up with it all & have to get some happy go lucky comments on our blog?

Lastly, if I EVER, EVER take or use something of yours (or anyone elses) & it knowingly seems to have been ripped from someone else, I gladly accept your call out. We all work too hard to be overlooked, but all of a sudden glance at someone elses blog, right here, & watch them get kudos. Come on now..

Alrighty, so obviously we're all in love here (I hope), & of course we're human (again, I hope..LOL), but even thru all the bliss & roses in happy fields of being engaged & wedding planning, what is the thing, or things that really peeve you about your FI? My FI rubs me the wrong way when he eats salad & has the dressing in the corners of his mouth! Uggh. And it also urks me a little bit when he 'pops his collar' & leaves his sunglasses on indoors. Come on baby....you're only that cool with ME...not in public, LOL. So, of course, it makes my skin crawl sometimes, but I love him even the more because he gets my skin all crawly...so what gets to you?

I love these shoes. I found them on aisle style, but need to hunt them down for purchase. If I cant find them, they seem pretty easy tp re-create. Get some pewter slingbacks & attach a beautiful flower. I love it.

I didn't realize that the knot has a photo shop that designs invitations, save the dates, programs, etc.. I found this wedding program there at the site. I love it because it has the elements & colors we're using, plus we get to plaster our pic on the front!

I'm an avid Hello Kitty Fan! I love Kimora lee Simmon's touch on the jewelry, & I love stopping in Sanrio's from time to time to pick up sweet little trinkets.

Well, I've oficially decided that although I dont want the whole theme to be about the Cat (LOL), I do want the chic side of Hello kitty incorporated into the decorations & even the dessert. Charcoal Gray linens, polka dot pink runners, Hot pink boas & Hello Kitty napkins & cupcakes! A little juvenile...possibly. Do I care....Nope!

I was in google madness tonight & came across a site called pinksugardots. It HAS to be good if it's pink. Anyhoo, I came across 3 items that are must haves: An invite card with hot pink, black & green...I think I may use it for my Chic Tea Party that is in the works. Another it a Bridesmaid's Card to acknowledge the BM's (heee heee...."BM's")..... LOVE it. And lastly, is a cutesy card of me & my Big Daddy. Well, maybe not us, but close enough. That card will be our thanks for shower gifts (hence, the umbrella) wording changed to "Thank You".

We're all doing it. We even deal with the mood swings, the indecisiveness (if that's a word), the hot flashes, the budgeting, the endless searching online & on foot, the joy, the pain, the blah, blah, blah. But, then again...it's us, right? So would you be a Wedding Planner? The more I check out the pages, ideas, & creativity of so many brides here, we can all say that we have an element of style & individuality..even if we did see it somewhere else. LOL.
So, given whan you've done so far, or what you PLAN to do...would you help someone else out & be their Wedding Planner?

They're all so lovely...so glam....so FAB....but how do you really choose? Simple solution I know, is to try them on, but I think I'm going to love more than one! We'll see.

I mentioned that we're having a mainly WHITE wedding, but the more I post, the more I see pink!!! These std's are fun & whimsical & set a carefree tone for us before the formal invite. This is one of many design options, so I'll narrow it down closer to the wedding. If you have suggestions, please do share! This one was on Delovely Designs.

Although we don't plan to have a Formal rehearsal dinner, we are considering having a tuxedo themed affair. It truly will be more of a "black & white" affair with little tuxedo petit fours. The pictures are my inspiration for my attire for that evening. I love the tuxedo style. Found it on brides.com.

I love the look of peonies! I had checked out Gratefulbride's page & saw some white hydrangeas that looked so pretty, so (not to be a copy cat) thought about using something similar. Our wedding is going to be all WHITE, but with white, pink & blush flowers & pomanders.

I LOVE my ring! But, not more than I love my Jamie (my H2B). We have been together for 2 years, and he lives in Atlanta. James, aka Jamie came into town last weekend on "business" and kept asking me how much I love him. We do this thing about "more than infinity" and "more than the world" that is a little cheezy, but it's us. Well, when he hugged me, he backed away & had the ring in his lips! Good thing he didn't choke, because I almost did! We're not very romantic, but we are in love & my baby did a darn good job with picking out this beautiful ring. I can't believe it (not that I doubted him)!!!
