My FMIL invited me to go to a local wedding show this weekend. The wording was something like:
"Maybe it's something the Mother of the Groom, the Mother of the Bride, and the Bride herself could go to?"
Love,
"Your Other Mom"
I'm actually pretty close to my Fiancee's mom, so it was a really nice gesture. And now the three of us are going. My Maid of Honor has been to a couple for her wedding in the last couple of weeks, and that's where she picked up all her honeymoon info. I hadn't even considered the honeymoon stuff as be a potential part of a Bridal Show. She also won half off her DJ....
....I think I'm just a little intimidated by the prospect of that many sales people in one area. SO...the question is; Are they really worth the price of my bravery???? :p
In my past experiences the vendors weren't too bad most of them give you their info and then you call them if you are interested in them. The thing to be worried about are they other brides, because they tend to be pushy. But I think it is a fun experience, I can't wait to go to more bridal shows when it gets closer to my wedding.
