Help PLEASEEEE?? Opinions?!

Sundays...Fridays?...Happy Days?

I think it really depends what sort of wedding you want. If you want an evening one with lots of dancing, etc, I would say Friday night. Most people don't need to be up on a Saturday morning like they do on a Monday.

If you are wanting an earlier, daytime wedding, I would choose Sunday.

I'm having a sunday wedding :)

we are having ceremony and reception at the same venue.  ceremony will start at 5 and the guests are to start their departure at 10:30

friday seems like more of a hassle to me because I think some people would have to take time off of work in order to attend.  just my opinion :)

i agree with Kristah... if its an evening wedding then friday would be best, i mean u dont wanna spend all that effort for ur day and by 9pm people are leaving and u really didnt enjoy... but if its a day wedding then sunday its fine coz youll have the whole day to enjoy...

In Angola most weddings are firday coz on saturday is the continuatons for people u couldnt invite for the wedding and the wedding is in the evening...

CAST MY VOTE FOR FRIDAY!!!  YAAAYYY FRIDAY WEDDING.  FI and I had the same dilemma in chosing Friday or Sunday bc they both came with AMAZING discounts over the Saturday counterparts.  Especially since over half our guest list is OOT.  We figured either way, ppl would have to take some time away from work...either Friday so they don't feel rushed and to allow those who are traveling to get settled in.  Or Monday bc who wants to get back up for work on Monday a.m. after the Sunday wedding?  

We ultimately chose Friday bc I always saw a golf course, outdoor, Spring time wedding when I thought of Sunday.  Which would be beautiful too...belgium waffles, bacon, mimosas, omlets, mmmmm.  But for me, I wanted old hollywood glam...feathers, drinks, dinner, dancing, cigar-bar type feel.  So Friday evening we better for me.  Plus we thought it'd give our guests a few more options in traveling back...either Saturday or Sunday.  Whichever was best for them.

i agree with kristah...it does depend on ur wedding type..if u want something during the day in early afternoon go with sunday, but if u want evening wedding and dancing/partying all night friday might be better...i was between friday and sunday as well..but went with friday, becuz i wanted a sunset wedding, which means late reception, and i didnt think people would wanna stay late if they worked monday...so friday it was...yes ur mom is right about the traffic, that was one of my concerns too. but ive been spreading the word around about my friday wedding so everyone knows waaaaaaay in advance and can make prior  arrangements to either get the day off or leave work early...i figured i ways ask for days off or accomadations at my work for my friends and family so i can make it to their events( since i usually always work fridays) so they can do it once for me ;)
