How did you pick your Honeymoon ?

My FH and I have already changed our mind 3 times as to where we want to spend our Honeymoon! First it was Egypt, then Thailand, and now it has changed to India. I have been looking at a few different travel companies that have planned/ guided itineraries, but I am wondering if we could just navigate ourselves.

Questions ! - How did you pick your Honeymoon destination? Are you going for Romantic or Adventure ? Are you using a travel company... if so which one ?

My FI would looove to go to Egypt....he talks about it all the time. He has like a few days of vaca for the rest of the year........so...we will probably go on a cruise ..... probably few weeks after the wedding...then maybe next year we will head to Germany to visit his mom (his mom is German) and visit his mom's side of the family. I have been wanting to go to Germany since high school.... I cant wait!

We decided on Maui because we've never been and because I wanted something very chill. I'm trying to see if I can suprise him with two days in vegas before we head off to Maui to relax and just enjoy each other.

We picked Mexico because the flight is only 4 hours and we wanted crystal blue water and romance- and we did not want to go to far becasue our little one will be home with grandma and I wanted a short flight away from home!! Plus, we are only honeymooning fpr 4 days so Mexico was perfect- I booked Online,

My FI REALLY wants to go to Ireland, because he's Irish, but it just costs way too much money. I really wanted to go to the Caribbean because it is cheap, all inclusive and very relaxing, but he didnt, lol. So we compromised and are going to Halifax, Nova Scotia. We're probably just going to book it online, you can get a better a deal.

Choosing our honeymoon destination was probably the easiest thing for us. It didn't even need to be discussed. It was pretty much understood I guess you could say. We're going to Hawaii. I know it's not the most original location for a honeymoon but Hawaii and the Hawaiian culture are very important/meaningful to us so there is a lot of meaning behind it. We're going for a mixture of both romantic and adventure. Hoping to start it off with adventure and end it with a lot of relaxation and romance. Not sure where we're getting our tickets from. Most likely online (which is where I make all of my travel arrangements from)
