I take mine off to sleep. Also I'll take it off if I'm doing something dirty, like gardening, or harsh, like remodeling work, etc. Some people are surprised I take it off at night, but my fingers swell and the ring tends to catch on fabrics/hit things/etc. I forgot to put it on one day last week and I felt very out of sorts. And it was funny cuz I was in a very "wedding" mood that morning, thinking about songs/decorations/etc.

I usually take my ring off before I shower. Just because i don't want it to slip off when my hands are soapy. I get paranoid lol so i put it in the drawer.

My ring is similar to that. I have an extra row of diamonds on each side. and its white gold with yellow gold on the sides...
