This is thirty3thirty's Chocolate Wedding!

My FI and I went to see our wedding site for the first time recently. The place is outside of Atlanta about 20 minutes from the airport. It really is gorgeous in person and truly a one stop shop. They basically provide everything for you. Our budget is for 100 ppl… They have a great selection of vendors to choose from, whom they have great relationships with...flowers, pictures, transportation, decorations, linens, utensils, setup and break down, food, open bar for three hours, (because we selected the three hour time slot all of our adult guests will have a free champagne total with us) a molly room (place for the bride and her party to get dressed at) a wedding planner (she will basically be the liaison between me and vendors...etc.) but I will have my personal day coordinator as well.

Not to mention for those guests who can't attend can log onto a private website with a password and watch our wedding LIVE.... I'm so excited that I found this place and can’t wait to get married here.

Husband and Wife (as we walk down the aisle)...my friend Whitney
came up with this idea. I love it. Might break into a soul train line...lol

I can across this Wishing Well Chest online. I thought it will be a perfect addition to our wedding. A great well to collect cards and monetary gifts presented at our reception. My family gives money and cards more than gifts

Hey ladies I just wanted to know what people had planned for the morning after. Since I know I won't get a change to talk to everyone for as long as I'd like at the wedding so I was thinking if we had all the out of towners' and guests (mainly family) go out for breakfast or brunch. We won't be leaving for our honeymoon until Monday night and since our wedding is on a holiday weekend I thought this would be nice. Whatcha think? Any Ideas.

I'm really loving these gowns. My wedding coordinator sent me several ideas today...I especially the love the strapless one. Luckily they come in both chocolate and champagne. I love the goddess...ish style!!!

I'm not sure if this sounds cheesy or not, but yesterday my FI and I had just finished our new home shopping tour...so Jason wanted to go to Borders Bookstore to continue his path of home research. Of course, I went to the magazine section to get more wedding ideas. While browsing thru some mags I can across this website www.adornbrides.com. This website Adorn Brides rents fine jewelry for weddings and other special occasions. I checked it out and there are some gorgeous pieces of jewelry. I'm not a jewelry person nor do I have any family heirlooms to wear on that special day, so I was thinking about renting a necklace and/or bracelet. What do you all think?

I'm ordering address labels for our save the date and I'm not sure what name to put on them? We do not live together, do I put his name, my name, both our names, just my address?? Help???

I saw this online and loved it!!!! It's a wedding guestbook signature frame... I thought this would be a perfect way to give our guests a chance to express their wishes and blessings to us on our Wedding Day.

In the past, it has always been assumed that the father of the bride is to be the one to walk her down the aisle. Nowadays, things are so different; family tension, having divorced parents, etc. I'm curious to know who will escort you down the aisle.

1. Will your father or stepfather walk you down the aisle?

2.Will your father or stepfather walk you down the aisle only halfway and then you walk the other half by yourself?

3.. Are you having your parents walk you down the aisle?

4.Will you have only your mother walk you down the aisle?

5. Do you have children, if so will they walk with you?

6. Or will you walk down the aisle yourself?

Most of my family and friends know that I have a huge fetish when it comes to shoes, especially stilettos...hmmm!!!! Anyway, I found some really cute shoes for my wedding. I'm sure by the time we make it to the reception I will be in flats...lol!!!!

I'm thinking about having an Ice Sculpture at our wedding. I'm not 100% sure about this idea but we will see. If we do the monogram I will use "C" for the new lastname.

Since we are having an outdoor wedding ceremony, I came up with an idea to serve a non-alcoholic beverage as our guests arrive. While they sit and wait patiently for our ceremony to begin they can enjoy a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage. HOWEVER, I can’t think of a non-alcoholic drink to serve!?!?!?!?! Should we have personalized bottled water or serve some type of punch/lemonade??? Also, should I have our ushers pass out the drinks as they hand out the wedding program?

Any ideas???

I found these wedding welcome baskets. I think I will set tone for our wedding and let guests know what events lie ahead by hanging welcome packages on the doors to their hotel rooms. This will be perfect for our guests being that most of them are from OOT. The gift box will be hung from a ribbon will include a itinerary of events and a map of how to get from one to the next.
Also information about the area, such as a list of restaurants, interesting sites, places to shop and twenty-four-hour drugstores. I will also toss in a disposable camera, a personalized bottle of water plus any other little extras that I might come across.

Hey Brides

How many wedding attendants is everyone going to have in their wedding? My FI and I decided to have a relatively small wedding only 50-75ppl. Our wedding party is going to be small as well; we decided only four bridesmaids and four groomsmen (including MOH and BM), a flowergirl and ringbearer.
Well I totally forgot about my niece and my goddaughter (both teenagers) whom I would love to add to our wedding, but I don't want to have an uneven wedding party. Should this really matter, having 4 bridesmaids 2 Jr bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen? Or is there another creative way to add them to our wedding? Any advice?

I haven't decided on what to do for our wedding favors. The most popular advice from family and friends is to give out Truffles (chocolate) to match our wedding colors.

Any Ideas or thoughts?

Is anyone arranging a surprise gift for your hubby to be the morning of your wedding?? I'm getting Jason some engraved cuff links with our initials. I'm having them delivered right before he leaves to go to the ceremony. I thought this will be fitting and totally unexpected.

One of my bridesmaids is having an issue the bridesmaids dresses. She doesn't like the dress and thinks that the bridesmaids should pick out their own dress? I don't know what to do. Should I allow them to pick out their own dresses and approve or not?

Can't decide between a princess ball gown and a sexy long gown? Thinking about wearing both; and switching between the ceremony and reception -- like an elegant updo for when we recite our vows and switching to natural cascading curls for the reception.

I actually like both centerpieces for each table at the reception, but I can only choose one. Maybe I can have the smaller one with the roses on the guests table and the taller vase on our table (bride & groom)?!?!

Any suggestions?

Our wedding cake is going to be similar to this one with a monogram on top. I'm not sure if we are going have only the letter C for our last name or sCj for our first name initial on both sides of the capital C.
Also since our wedding will be fairly small I didn't want a 7 tier wedding cake with cake displays on an off set stand but something simple, elegant and square shape.
The wedding cake will be buttercream served with vanilla bean Ice Cream & Fresh Strawberries topping. The ice cream will be in a waffle cake, I thought this would be different; however our guests will have the option to choose.

Is anyone planning to have any sort of theme for your wedding? Our wedding will be outdoors and I really can't think of a theme. Maybe doves, butterflies, bells, a specific sort of flower? I don't know...What will your wedding theme be?

I Initially wasn't to keen on having a outdoor wedding. However, my FI only had two wishes for our wedding; 1.) A outdoor wedding ceremony and 2.) Great entertainment...so I obliged and I must stay that I'm happy with the choice.

I recently decided to have a bell ringer instead of a ring bearer. I can't wait to see my little nephew walk down the aisle just before I do ringing his bell announcing the bride is coming, the bride is coming. I'm sure he will get everyone's attention.

The decorations in this picture is very similar to what I have in mind, minus a few details. We will have more champagne in our decorations, still simple yet elegant.
