Morning After the wedding
Hey ladies I just wanted to know what people had planned for the morning after. Since I know I won't get a change to talk to everyone for as long as I'd like at the wedding so I was thinking if we had all the out of towners' and guests (mainly family) go out for breakfast or brunch. We won't be leaving for our honeymoon until Monday night and since our wedding is on a holiday weekend I thought this would be nice. Whatcha think? Any Ideas.

I think it would be very nice, not too early though :) A brunch buffet can be nice... an omlet station, some fruit and a mimosa.... ooooh I am hungry!

that sounds like a great plan to me. Where do you guys plan on getting breakfast at?

i was thinking about doing the same thing, but making it a lunch date. So right after checkout we can head straigt to a resturant family only.

We just told everyone that we would be home by 12:00PM and to come by for left over cake and champagne and gifts! We have a small apartment but big hearts and we made do, it was fun! No one was getting up at the same time, so everyone did their own thing in the AM for breakfast, many cruized by our room to say hey and hang out (we were all at the same hotel, and many were hungover, including my hubby, who DOES NOT get hangovers!).

We're doing brunch for the bridal party, oot guests, family and some friends on Sunday. We will probably have it catered at my mom's or a more laid back restaurant so that people can be relaxed and not worry about attire.

I think that is a great idea. We are going to have a barbecue in the afternoon so we can enjoy all the family and friends we have that are coming from out of town. This is an additional way to get pictures you will have for your wedding album.  Good luck!

We'll probably have breakfast with one crowd, and lunch with another. Some of our guests are staying the entire week after the wedding to play at Disney. I'm sure we'll hang out with everyone before they go.

I'm not 100% sure but I think we are leaving to go on our honeymoon sunday afternoon, even though I'm sure we will both be exhausted but great idea

my house is sorta in the middle of everyone elses so the night of the wedding my brother and the best man are going to take all our gifts to our house. Then the next morning we (mostly family) will be having a brunch type buffet at my house and opening the gifts

We were thinking about having something but most of my fi's family is from NY so they will be leaving Sunday Morning and Afternoon, and with security at the airport here in Atlanta they will have to be there at least 2 hours.

My FMIL is hosting a catered lunch at her house the day after for family, friends and OOT guests. It is a casual, laid back affair she is planning for us. Traditionally (for us, anyways) its called a "gift opening", cause people mainly come to watch us open the gifts. Its a great way to mingle and chat now that everyone is sober!
