Coed Bridal Showers

Is anyone having a coed bridal shower? I wish I would have thought about having one not sure if my husband would have agreed to it lol. But I think this is a cool idea. Do you think its tacky? Should bridal showers stay for women only? What are your thoughts?

We have decided to do a coed bridal shower because the only women I know are the ones in my bridal party. I am in the car business do I know alot of men. We decided to do a Las Vegas theme coed bridal shower. I cant wait to see what the guys are going to get us...lmao

we are having a "Wedding Shower" instead of a Bridal Shower.  I figured I'm not the only one getting married; not the only one to receive congrats and gifts; why should it only me at the shower?  And if I'm going to make my groom be there; he should be the only male.  Anyway its turning into a big party; sort of like a prewedding wedding. So there is a lot to consider when you go this route.

I love the name change @mrsshannon "wedding shower"makes it sound less about the bride but about the couple. Great idea!!

I love coed showers/wedding showers, but FH is really old school when it comes to any type of "shower".  He is hands off other than helping out where needed.  The only way we'd both be there is if it was a surprise, lol.  I think they're super fun though & they make sense.

We are doing one as well for the one that will include our close friends, who are all couples as well.  It'll be more of a wedding party, rather than a shower. The guys have games they have to do as well so it ends up being pretty fun.
