Ask a Question
Aisle Runner?
I'm really thinking about lining my aisle runner with silk petals. The runner is 100 ft and I want a full look. Has anyone seen this done before? How many silk petals did you use? Should I glue the petals on since we are having a outdoor wedding or does that sound tacky? If not, how do I achieve this look and how can I make it work? I'm sure this is pretty simple but I'm so clueless. Help??

I think this is a great idea. I love the petals lining the runner

Maybe you don't have to glue them but have your coordinator toss them on your runner right before you are about to walk down the aisle

Ooh that's pretty!  And I don't think gluing would look tacky.  As soon as you walk down the aisle, your train is going to mess it allllllllll up unless they're stuck down!

Ive seen this b4 and they were not glued on the runner just spread b4 the wedding started but since you are having an outdoor wedding you might want to have this done b4 you walk down the aisle.

That is a great Idea , another way you could have silk petals on your runner is to glue those flowers that come already on the vine usually they have them at Michaels or Joann fabric and before you walk down add a few loose petals to give the illusion of a fuller runner that way the all of the petals will not follow you down the isle. lol
