Wedding Favors
Any Ideas?
I haven't decided on what to do for our wedding favors. The most popular advice from family and friends is to give out Truffles (chocolate) to match our wedding colors.

Any Ideas or thoughts?

My friend got married last September and she did the truffle idea--Lindt ones. They weren't in the wedding colors, but their favorite flavors. I think doing either the colors or flavors is nice.

We're doing flower seeds in little organza bags with a stamped tag.

I've seen other people do little packages of hershey kisses with tags that say "from the Mr. and Mrs." I thought those were super cute.

I've had cousins who did the Lindt truffles in packages right from the company (they have a factory right in NH and some of us live near it).

I like the idea of cookie cutters in the shape of hearts with a little tag, or measuring spoons in the shape of a heart.

Other wise, I think the food idea goes a long way. People will probably eat it right there and you won't have to worry about a ton of left overs (hopefully).

chocolate candy sounds great for your favors -- especially if your theme color is also chocolate brown which is so popular these days.  I saw some cute ideas for candy favors -- my favorite was a small mini candy bin filled with jelly beans or M&Ms -- so cute!  Pictures of them are at:

Also the same website has a section devoted to chocolate brown themes:

good luck!

I agree with some type of chocolate candy/almonds or chocolate dipped strawberries.  If you're having a fountain, the strawberries may defeat the purpose, but for chocolate lovers, I think the truffles will be a hit.  They look elegant & will make a nice treat on the way home.
