I stumbled upon Etsy.com a few weeks ago after my wedding planner sent me the pillow idea below. I wish I would have known about the site months ago! I saw some great accessories for the wedding. I initially wanted a piece that would be shipped from Austraila with no guarantee that I would get it in time . So I ran across Clark and Diversify and ended up with a custom made item I am really excited about the final product and love the fact that it matches the detail in my dress!

As I noted before my inital dream was to have the crystal trees however, I did find some silver trees and beautiful cracked glass vases. The trees are no crystal wedding trees however, I feel that they will create a sparkle around the room. My flower friend plans to add some accents inside the vase and I plan to do some white lighting to really make them pop. I found myself at five targets last Saturday looking to find these vases. Now I have to go back to the wholesale flower location and pick up 9 more trees.

At first I really wanted the crystal trees, but if I was going to get them I wanted to swarovski crystals from Ethereal Decor.com. I wish I would have known a year ago my color scheme and the look I was aiming for I would have bought some of the crystals each pay check. However, in search of other options I ran across the ostrich feather centerpieces I was really taken back when I saw them they are beautiful. So I placed the order for three it came out to be $1223.00 with tax. Right now the kits are on sale for $38.00 and looks like I got free shipping. I couldn't be happier. Now I am going to change the look of my boquet by spicing it up with a few feathers. As the time winds down it just seems like God is blessing us all over the place. Great deals on luxury finds!

Update placed the order and that deal is only good if you buy at least 5 feather centerpieces so I dropped down and ordered two instead. That came to around 46.00 each which still wasn't bad and yes, shipping was added this time.

I found myself looking at over 10 websites to find the ideal guest book for me and I found this book by Lenox and it comes with the pen. After reading the reviews on Amazon I am confident that I made a good decision. When I went to the site amazon recommended the cake knife and server along with the toasting glasses (all of the items that I needed) so my mom and dad bought the set for $88.00 now thats one thing I can take off my list and move on to the next item that still needs to be done..sigh, man in the end I know that it will be worth it :)

This is the next project at hand. The Inspiration for this unique one of a kind, -----dont see every day ever at weddings (lol) came from my wedding planner who sent the email that made me re-consider my plans to buy one of those "typical" white pillows. So now I just have to find a flower similar to the one in the photo. We've decided to freak it out replacing the rings diamond insert. I am going to start my search with Michaels and see where it leads!!!! Wish me luck!!!

Thank God for wedding planners... well today my fab wedding planner called me to go over the ceremony details. Tha's something that I have found myself avoiding. However, as always when we get together and brainstorm so many great ideas start to flow. So since I am going with black landscape as the aisle runner we are going to have silver petals bordering the aisle and the lovely flower girls will throw out apple green petals in the center to create a dramatic effect as the the candles lined along the aisle creates a special effect and mood. So today I am placing the orders for those. That is maybe five things down and 100 more things to go. LOL well maybe....

I have been going back and forth for the past few months on the dress to get my little angels. Finally, today it was like divine intervention stepped in, in a major way. First found a dress that has the green of my wedding in it for five of my girls and to top that off on sale!! No shipping and comes with a discount and I also found the perfect dress for my junior bridesmaid. While I ordered the junior bridesmaids dress my mom (a blessing from God, yes she is ordered the other five) So that is taken care of and I am so relieved. Now I have to make sure that all of my bridesmaids have their dresses....

I went with Eva's Bridal for my wedding dress in Chicago, IL. A small boutique in north Chicago. The service was not the greatest, however their selection of unique dresses was great due to their affordable prices. I went for my final fitting last weekend with the hopes that I would step into that dress and it would fit perfectly not needing any alterations. I should have known that was too good to be true. I need so many alterations. Now I am working to budge in the cost of it. I feel like if I buy the dress from you spending over $ 1000 why can't you do alterations for free? Eva's Bridal is looking to charge 300 extra. Where is the appreciation for your service. Well anyway I am going to look locally and find someone to take care of it for me.
