Bridal Shower
So I have a bit of a problem

One of my mom's friends (well actually she is a family friend) is throwing my bridal shower, both my maids of honor are my little sisters that are still in high school, they are a part of the planning the bridal shower but i thought they might need some help.....

I've never been in a wedding let alone gone to a bridal shower.....
I'm having trouble because I've had several people come up to me and ask me what I wanted for my bridal shower, like I said I've never been to one so I don't know what I want really?????

Little confused when it comes to that. I just keep telling people to get me whatever it is they think I would like I mean I'm not a picky person I will like it no matter if I don't use it or not.....but they keep giving me weird looks like you don't know what you want for your bridal shower?

I know that this isn't going to be a normal bridal shower already its kinda like a big party haha....

Ladies I need your help on this I know it kind of sounds dumb to ask this but at this point im so confused lol can you plz help me??????

Do you mean what you want as far as gifts? Usually the bride and groom register somewhere for household items. Have you guys done that or plan to? Then in the shower invite, they list where you are registered at.

It doesn't sound dumb sweetie :) like Beth AKA phillysgirl5 has said Its usually household items so you can go round and register somewhere and include the name of that place on your cards so that your bridal shower guests can buy the items from there :)

I WOULD AGREE WITH THE OTHER 2 LADIES ON HERE, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, KITCHEN ITEMS, BEDDING, TOWELS,FRAMES,GLASSWARE,DISHES,PICTURES AND EVEN MAYBE SOME LINGERIE...NOTHING CRAZY  BUT MAYBE NIGHT GOWNS, ROBES ETC.... I HAVE BEEN TO MANY AND IT REALLY DEPENDS ON HOW YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE. MY FAMILY IS A LITTLE MORE SPUNKY SO I WILL BE GETTING LINGERIE PROBABLY OR GIFT CARDS TO GET SOME AND FOR OUR WEDDING GIFTS THE HOUSEHOLD ITEMS.....ITS REALLY WHAT YOU WANT.....AND WHAT YOUR FAMILY PLANS.. yeah normally is stuff u would need in the house.... if u didnt register jus let them know any kitchen or lounge or bedroom stuff...

I say go to somewhere like Target and register for household items if u dont need that Id let them know bedroom stuff is also welcomed hehe!!

Thanks ladies for your comments well at this time we dont have a house we live with my mom but we are planning on getting a house we live with my mom because she really needed help so should i ask for houseware items? like i said we are going to get a house, i did not know that you could register for  lingerie? lol when i said ive never been to a bridal shower that is completely true my wedding is the first wedding that i will be apart of lol

You can still register for household items, and just store them until you have a house. :) We rent a townhouse right now and plan on buying a house next year. So even though we don't have the room IN the house now, we still are registering. Some bigger stuff will just have to stay in the garage until we are ready. :)
