My FI & I are paying for it all.  With that being said, we have a limited budget compared to most, but we are catching bargains on quality items wherever possible & taking the time to do as many DIY projects as possible (especially thru professionals & gifted friends).  Kudos on your budget!

We started planning as if we would be paying for everything ourselves budget was set at 30K. With our choice of vendors we brought our budget up to 35K. The other day my mom gave me 5K for my dress. Obviously I won't spend all of it on the dress so that's extra money to be applied to the budget. My mom is also paying for some guests and his mom is helping as well. I refuse to go over 35K and would ideally do it for 30.

My FI and I are paying for it all with some help from my mother. Only because she insists. Our budget is only $10000 nothing outrageous, and it will be the best wedding for us.

I'm paying for most of it, and his parents are chipping in a little bit.  Our budget is $5,000.  It might not even take that much money, but I'm not sure yet.

My FI and I are paying for it. My parents are helping a bit towards the rings, but other then that it's just us. I'm really proud of ourselves that we managed to save for it all. A good indication for married life.

We are paying for most it ourselves. H2B's grandpa loaned us $3,00.00 (part went to ballroom and we will pay that back) and gave us $500.00 for the cake. We paid the extra $13,000.00 But $16,500.00 for EVERYTHING for a wedding in San Diego for 100 people isn't too bad in my mind!

Our budget at the absolute most has to be $23,000 (CDN) and I'm not even including the honeymoon! I've cut out the things I don't think are important to me like favours and I'm trying to make some things myself... I don't know how other brides can do it on less so KUDOS to you brides who can plan on a tight budget. My mom has offered to help me pay for the wedding gown and I'm so thankful to have that taken care of. Other than that, we're paying for everything ourselves so our engagement period has been pretty long (2 years +) so we can save for it.

Our budget is around $6,000. We are paying for just about everything ourselves. His mom has loanded us $100 here and there but we are also doing our wedding in their backyard, which is free. I have a close friend doing the cake and catering (for a very small fee of $1.25 per person), the photography is being practically donated by my uncles life partner and hair makeup is being done by one of the bridesmaids who is a cosmotologist and she can do everything so beautifully. Rental items are the bulk of our expenses. I say no matter the budget if you can stick to it you will have the wedding you want. Yours will be amazing :)

we are paying for our wedding ourselves...we decided that our budget will be $15,000 and he came up with that  i'm a teacher with tons of bills so basically my hunny bunny will be footing most of the bill, & my mother has tons to take care of so i wouldn't even think of asking her to foot a lot of the bill...if she asks i will take, but only after seeing what we can do for ourselves ...i think it is such a wonderful blessing that you have a parent to help pay for you & your fifi's wedding!!!!

congrats and happy planning!!!

Our budget is $10,000 and we are paying for it ourselves. His parents are taking care of the Rehearsal Dinner and my parents are taking care of the Gift opening the day after the wedding and the bridal shower along with my sisters. We are hoping to stay as close to our budget as possible. We have been saving for two years and on our wedding day we will be debt free and not owe anything.
Weddings in small towns seem to cost much less than big city living so we are fortunate for that. We are also doing lots of DIY projects to keep costs low and to have friends and family with skills often helps!
Good luck to all...

I have a budget of 25k, but I live in a small town and that is HUGE here.  We have a guest list of 400+ though, so many of the expenses are just because we have so many people.  My FH and I are paying for honeymoon and BM/GM gifts.  My parents are paying for pretty much everything except rehearsal because his parents can't really afford to pitch in anything else. We're really trying to keep it as low as possible because any money set aside for wedding that we don't use goes towards a down payment on a house!

I haven't really set a budget yet, just because I have a little over 2 years until the wedding, but I think it's going to be between 30-40K. It might be less if I decide to do more DIY things. But we'll see!!

Go Girl we are doing it in Jamaica so believe it or not it's cheaper bc it's an all inclusive resort  & I am having the Preston Bailey package and a Sylvia Weinstock cake, dress from Kleinfelds ,most likely but only 2 bridesmaids & 20 guests so i can have my $100,000.00 wedding for about $15,000.00! Get creative & stretch that budget open a cc w airline miles & pay for it all on there & u can get  free airfare to ur honeymoon!!!  my cake will be 5 tiers high but only the top and bottom will be cake i am having the rest made up of foam covered in the fondunt! my quote was $1900.00 for a 5 tier so a 2 tier with the add ins is only $550.00!  also most of the table decor will double as favors! Goo luck with all i adore ur theme since i'm a NYC girl and he took me to Tiffany's to look for the ring:)

We are paying for our wedding since both of my parents are deceased. It is very stressfull.  Can't afford a wedding planner so we are going to have a nice wedding for about 6000. His father is a pastor, his brother is a preacher, his other brother is a DJ, his sister has went school for decorating and party planning and both of his sisters sing, his aunt has done decorating for a few weddings recently. His cousin has a catering businesses and his Aunt has a catering truck.
I say this to say......they better kick in their services to help out...LOL
