I purchased my gown for $1400 including the alterations, which for being a brand new Maggie Sottero special edition gown I didn't think was bad at all. I'm sure you can find a beautiful gown in your price range. I saw many in your range at Alfred Angelo that were lovely! Good luck & enjoy!

I really like the 3rd, but think the train may be tooo long, and i also really like the 1st one

and i'm hoping to only spend 500 on my dress (before alterations- if i had chosen such a soon wedding date, i could use that site too!)

I went shopping on Craigslist.com in my area. I bought my dress for $75! It was a brand new David's Bridal gown and GORGEOUS! She so happened to have a couple extra ones, because she really couldn't decide on which one she liked, she had a baby first and was depressed about loosing 75 lbs to get into them.  I was very lucky and blessed to get this beautiful gown. I think it's posted on page 2 of my blog.

My dress was $970 at Amandas bridal salon. Way over my budget, but I had to have it & I don't regret buying it.
You should try david's bridal they might have lower costing dresses.

I'm honestly hoping to get my dress second hand.  If I can pay 400.00 for my dress, I will be happy.  Full price, my gown is 850.00 plus alterations. It's an Alfred Angelo dress.

I BOUGHT MY WEDDING DRESS AT A BRIDAL SHOW FROM A BRIDAL BOUTIQUE THAT WAS SHOWCASING THERE. THEY HAD GOWNS MARKED UP TO 75% OFF. MY GOWN ORGINALLY RETAILED FOR $1300 IN THEIR SHOP, BUT SINCE I ATTENDED THE BRIDAL SHOW, I ENDED UP PAYING ONLY $425 AFTER TAX FOR IT

I bought a dress (not my wedding dress) from bestbridalprices and they were great to deal with. I got my own dress and bridesmaids dresses from marisanicolebridal.com (I originally got the quotes and ideas from bestbridal and) marisanicole got me a cheaper quote. So if you are looking to save money I would highly recommend her. I got my wedding dress, shoes, veil and my bm's dresses, their shoes and my flowergirl dresses from her. I have them all they are all perfect love them all have posted pics too in case you want to go and have a look. If you have a certain dress in mind I would recommend you email her for a quote to see if she can save you money. I know another one or 2 brides from the site emailed her due to my recommendation too. If you need help just ask!

We paid $1,893 taxes in.  I also have yet to pay for the alterations shoes, undergarments and a veil.  I found that taking pictures of myself trying on various dresses in the shop and looking at the pics later on helped me decide which gown looked best on my body type.  I ended up buying a dress that I would never have considered in a magazine.  Good luck!

Mine is a Jacqueline Exclusive gown for 1090.  It was the first dress that I tried and I felt so beautiful in it that I had to have it no matter what the cost.
I think the 3rd dress in your pics is gorgeous.

I paid $336 for my dress, it was a sample marked down from $980. I bought my veil for $10 on ebay. I still need to buy shoes, and alterations will be approx $100 for my dress. I think it's a great idea to order online, you can buy gowns for sooo much cheaper. I love #3 it is my favourite, the ruching (sp?) and beadwork is gorgeous!

I like the dresses in the 2nd or 3rd picture - the only thing with the one in the third picture is the train seems super long!  May not be an issue if it is detachable and you only wear it for the ceremony.  All very beautiful though!

The first dress that you have a picture of I bought off ebay for $150! The tags are still on it! I'm anxiously waiting for the person to ship it. I was getting really frustrated because I couldn't find the price for lower than $450. The best thing to do is google a search on the style number. Craigslist and ebay are the best shopping places for bargins. Congratulations and good luck!

I spent $399 USD which worked out to be $530CAN. The doller sucked at the time. I got my dress custom made from Julius Bridal. I gave them a picture of the top of one dress and the bottom of another and the back of a third. The quality is great and the dress is perfect. I couldn't be happier with them and they had it to me in 3 months. I highly reccomend them. http://www.juliusbridal.com/

okay, so originally my dress was going to be £2000ish...
stupid money, and it was way too frou-frou anyways
i changed my mind and has already paid half off...
so in the end, my new dress is £1050 which at today's exchange rate is ... $1,533.95USD... now i wish i had shopped around a lot more before making a decision.....

$1,800 before alterations.... its being custom made to my measurements though, so hopefully I won't have to put too much money into it!  It was 2100, but I shopped around, found it cheaper in New York, and had the local salon price match... which given the economy they were more than happy to do! I think the gowns you have picked out!  I can't believe you found such a great deal!

I really like dress #2! Very Beautiful Train!

My dress was $450 from davids bridal and my alteration will most likely be $100 or less. I def. had to keep a budget as well.  But I think I would still have picked my dress even if I didnt have limits!

I found one off the rack for about $550.  alterations will probably cost about $150 they said.
Really I figure it's only me and my mom that know how much it costs, and it was regular $1200 so it's still a good dress!:)  I would totally recomend looking at off the rack dresses first!

I am planning to spend about $1000 CDN on the outfit, not including accesories, but I am spending about $1700 on the airline ticket to go shopping in Asia.   Its still a saving because the same Indian outfit in Vanocuver retails between $3000- $5000, and I can get the rest of my bridal parties outfits made there for a fraction of the cost!!!

I love the 3rd dress, but I am also a fan of the cathedral train.

Okay, let me break this down because I added a few things to my dress. I haven't gone in for alterations and they are not included in the price beyond what I am putting here. My total for my trip to Alfred Angelo (notice I didn't say dress) was 1910.62 with tax.
-$89 for the slip
-$899 for the dress
-$169 to add 3 inches to the bottom of the dress (I am taller and the dresses are made for women 5'9" in their heels. i was barefoot and you could see my feet)
-$199 for the veil
-$159 for the bridal jewelry (which I am now rethinking)
-$250 to add 3 feet to the train of the dress

Nut, I know, but I had to have everything when i saw it. Like I said, I am a fan of the cathedral trains, so I had to have one. The veil is great. So yes, so far, i have spent almost 2k on a dress. Apparently I didn't stop at a bowl, I ate the whole box of Cra-Z Flakes that morning! LOL

I love gown in the picture where the girl is sitting down...

I was really lucky to have my mom pay for my dress as my wedding gift. It was $2000 plus it will probably be another $300 or so for alterations.

I'm lucky, as it appears I may be able to have my dress custom made off of my design for about $300. I live in China and fabric and labour are quite cheap here.

The first picture of the dresses you have I bought off Ebay for $150!!! My petti-coat I'm borrowing from my neighbor. I have yet to have it altered. I searched the style number and maker of the dress all day. I kept only finding it for $400 and up. If it helps you and you really like the dress of the first picture, search style number T8015 or DaVinci dresses. Craigslist.org is another great place to look for dresses! Good luck!

I almost spent $700 on wedding dress. The first one is from my family, it's an old wedding dress which my mother had worn 20 years ago and now it's turn to me. Honestly, I don't like the first one so I bought another one from online store loveseason. I like the second one. It's a  Mermaid Scalloped-Edge wedding dress plus jewelry, $400 and some litttle things
