Thank you Parasol - Hopping on the train - TIGGRE99's Red Wedding by Color Blog

I love the idea of holding something that says Thank You for our thank you notes. I had thought about holding the cards saying thank you, but I have seen a few brides post the thank you parasol. I really love the look of the parasol vs. the cards. The cards would be a lot cheaper and what would I do with the parasol after the wedding? Oh well, I think I may go ahead and order it...it's so cute! I really like the second picture.

I've ordered my Thank You parasol from I Do Originals and am soooo excited. Too bad it'll take 3 months to arrive! Hopefully I'll get it before then. I'll be sure to post pics once it arrives. :-) You can certainly make it yourself and save money; however I'm not THAT crafy and don't want to rely on myself to make it look good! lol

waveschick2, I would LOVE to split the cost but I am leaving to go on the honeymoon immediately after the reception so I don't know where it will be when I get back.

I'll probably buy it then whatever I have left over from the wedding will be listed on WBC and weddingbee. I'm sorry; it's just less stressful that way.

I actually ordered a Thank You parasol from www.idooriginals.com and I was very VERY happy with the way it turned out! You can check it out on my blog. It took a little over 3 months to receive as it is hand painted so I really wanted to order it early! I didn't want to cut it close at this time next year when my wedding really is. I think it's a great idea, I plan on making thank you cards with them and well. I have also thought about what to do with it after the wedding. A few friends of mine suggested making an everyday thank you card with it every year or selling it on ebay. Who knows, but I would highly suggest ordering it from idooriginals.com, they did a wonderful job!

waveschick2--- that's a good idea---but I would really want to see until after the wedding, just in case it gets damaged or whatever. Perhaps once I get it I'll be come attached to it and won't let it go! But I will definitely keep you in mind if I decide to sell it.

I love the idea of using it to make everyday Thank you cards----I had never thought of that! What a cute and personal way to say thank you to people! What script did you use? I really like the one you bought. It looks very nice!

This is really cute! We are using a picture to put on our thank you's as well. Instead of getting cards made, however, we're getting postcards made. You can get 250 full color postcards (black and white on the back) for $24.95 from nextdayflyers.com. They are awesome! I used them to make my save the dates and they were great!

I love the parasol, but I really don't want to spend $45 for one just for one picture. So, I thank that I will be going with the sign...they're both cute. I might change my mind before November, because I really love the parasol.
