Bouquet Toss

Ask a Question
Will the girls hate me if I keep my bouquet and use a "bouquet toss" bouquet?

It's a few hours before my wedding and I have so naively thought that all the major questions were already answered by the brilliant WBC team...

... then I saw my bouquet...

And realized I wanted to keep it. :(

So, we're thinking of buying/making a last-minute bouquet made especially for the bouquet toss...

I hope the girls won't end up hating me.

I guess I'll have to live with it.

My bouquet is GORGEOUS!!!!

And it's time to go to bed and put all issues aside.

Getting married in 16 hours...

Wish me luck ladies.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all your wise words and for the wonderful camaraderie.

HUGE HUGS,
(soon-to-be) Mrs. W

To be honest.  I personally thought that thats what the bride always does.  I know I was given that option by my florist.  We decided against the flower toss.  Only because alot of the people coming to our wedding are younger teens 15-17 or young adults already engaged and dating.  Bryan and I have both been in a situation where we were engaged but we were forced to go up  because we were technially both "single" we hated the embarressment as we were standing around with a bunch of younger kids.  I dont mean to discourage you.  I like the bouquet toss, but you have to have the right type of crowd to make it work.  Anyways, I dont think your girls would care, and they shouldn't.  Good grief its your wedding and its your bouquet if you want to keep it... KEEP IT. :)  Im sure they will understand.  Half the time the girls that catch it throw it away anyways later that night, so why let your beautiful bouquet go to waste.

I am not sure if I'm doing a bouquet toss or not, but I also thought that it was always done with a smaller, less expensive bouquet. Keep yours & enjoy it!! Best of luck with everything!! Post pictures!

OMG how exciting for you, I wish you the best wedding ever.

Yur girls won't hate you by tossing a make-up bouquet, most brides keep their own as a memento, they are unique and worth keeping.

I am doing the same, tossing a different one.

I have definitely heard of a "toss bouquet". You keep the one that was made for you, and throw a different one to the ladies.

OR...don't toss one at all. It's not in the rules that you *have* to do it. It's your day - and if you want to hold onto your flowers, then keep them! No one will hate you!

Congratulations on your wedding day. I hope everything is perfect for you.

I'm having a bouquet that a bit different. It's 3 small pomanders attached to 3 stinks of pearls (which will be 3 different lengths). So, I'll just cut 1 of them and toss that.
