I found instruction how to make monograms

Creating a custom monogram is simple using Microsoft Word. All you have to do is create a text box for each initial in your monogram and arrange the boxes so they're spaced to your satisfaction. Easy!

1. Open Microsoft Word
2. From the DRAWING toolbar, click the "text box" button.
3. Type your initial in the text box you just created.
4. Do this for each initial of your monogram. (For example, if you're monogram is SMT, you'll need three boxes.)
5. Format your text boxes to feature NO FILL and NO LINE.
6. Now click on each text box and drag it to the placement and spacing that suits you.

Hints & Tips

* For PC users, if you use the arrow keys while holding down the Ctrl key, this will give you more precision in moving the boxes than if using only the mouse.
* Use different fonts and color combinations to create a beautiful and unique monogram.

In addition to Word, some knotties have also had success with making monograms with Microsoft Powerpoint. For those a little more software savvy, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are great for designing monograms! It gives me more freedom in design than Word or Powerpoint. However, these software CAN get pricy if you only intend of using them for monograms. The Adobe software costs a couple hundred dollars.

You can also order a personalized embosser to use on your table napkins, stationery, etc

You might be able to download trial versions of Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc. It also works in Microsoft Works word processor.

You can also add embossing and other font effects to your monogram letters by highlighting the letters you just made and right clicking on the highlighted selection

-> a menu will pop up
-> click on "Font..."
-> Under "Effects" you can apply shadowing, outlining, embossing, engraving, small caps, etc.

Thanks for the advice!

Okay,  need some help.  What fonts did you use for the "D" and Brenda and Christopher?  I do not have them on my Word program.  Also, I'm not sure where the drawing toolbar is??  I want to make a 2" square label that resembles your sample.  Do you know a source for small amounts of blank labels.  I only need about 20 sheets.
Thanks
