Ribbon or No Ribbon
Hi Ladies....my counter says I am at 100 days but actually I am at 101 and will be at 99 days on Friday...OMG can you believe it....and on the 25th of this month I will be at the 3 month mark.
With time going by vastly I have begun working on printing and assembling my invitations designed by ours truly SHANNY POOH aka mrshtobe. So my question is ladies should I use the ribbon or just the monogram on the invite....FH likes the ribbon and I like it too...but the extra work IIIIII yayayayayay...LOL So ladies let me have it Ribbon or no Ribbon????? I also attached pics of the entire invitiation suite....Shanny Pooh is AWESOME!!!! |

Wedding Planner
OMG...4 MONTHS TO GO
WOW ladies I can't believe that today makes 4 MONTHS UNTIL THE BIG DAY....things around this way have been SOOOO BUSY...since my last post we have moved into our NEW Home...now that we have accomplished that I am strictly focusing on the WEDDING.....because it will be here before I know it...it seems like it was just yesterday when I hit the 1 year mark and now in 21 more days I will be in the double digits...OMG I cannot believe I AM GETTING MARRIED!!!! YYYAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!
Tonight I did a mock-up of the wedding invitation...I opted to go with a petalfold instead of a pocketfold and will post pics as soon as I locate my camera LOL So here is my To-Do List for the month of May because April is GONE and just yesterday it was April Fool's Day: * Choose and order flower girl dresses * Have guys registered and fitted for suits * Confirm floral order with florist * Meet with the wedding coordinator at the Church * Print and begin to assemble invitations * Purchase accessories for dress (shoes, undergarments, etc) * Decide on cake * Decide and give ceremony music to musician |

IT FINALLY HAPPENED
WE CLOSED ON OUR HOUSE
LADIES....after 4 months of being in LIMBO and 3 months of our family living apart we FINALLY closed on our HOME!!!!
I am so excited to have this done, and cannot wait until we are able to move in and be under the same roof again. Just had to share with my WBC Sisters!!!!! |

Wedding Dress
SHE ARRIVED EARLY!!!!
OMG....Ladies, I received a call yesterday from the Bridal Salon letting me know that my dress HAS ARRIVED....OMG...I had just talked to them Friday and was informed that the ship date was set for approximately May 25th with the dress being in store no later that June 15th....OMG...I AM SOOOO EXCITED....I go in next Friday to pay off the balance, luckily for me they will store the dress in salon until it is time for my 1st fitting all the way up to a few days before the wedding!!!!

Flower Girl Dresses
I LOVE these 2 Dresses
I said YES to my Dress and my Bridesmaid Dresses & I am reluctantly letting FH handle his guys attire, so now I'm left with MY FLOWER GIRL DRESSES.
I have 2 daughters whom of course are apart of the wedding, and we are also having his niece, and one of my cousins in the wedding as well. I am thinking of using both of the dresses for the girls. I ABSOLUTELY adore the 2nd dress with the silver sash as it mimics my dress a little, and was thinking of having my oldest daughter wear this dress as she is my jr. bride, and have my baby girl, niece, and cousin in the other. What do you ladies think??? Also how much is too much for a flower girl, jr bride dress???? |

TO ALL MY WBC SISTERS
Ladies, Ladies, Ladies during the planning process we share EVERYTHING that we are going through with the wedding process here on WBC. But I have noticed here lately is that after the WEDDING DAY has come and GONE so are the former BRIDES to BE.
Ladies I ask that you DO NOT leave us hanging after your day has come and gone. Honestly I think that it is rude. We have shared this precious moment with you just to be left wondering how did everything turn out, what was the day like, was it everything that you wanted it to be. I'm not speaking for everyone but I know ALOT of us want to know EVERYTHING, and I think that a nice RECAP should be done (not just a few pics saying everything was perfect, even though I do appreciate that). Ladies do you understand where I am coming from??? Un-Even Wedding Party
So ladies in my last post I told you all about my MOH stepping down. Well with that being done we now have an uneven wedding party.
FH has asked me what am I going to do about that, should he let one of his guys go and my response was ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! His guys are excited about being in the wedding and I feel as though feelings would truly be hurt if we were to ask any of them to step down. So with that being said, I told him that his 2 best men would walk in behind him, my Matron of Honor walks down by herself and everyone else will be perfectly paired, and for the recessional my MOH and his 2 BM can walk together which I think would be cute. Ladies what do you think? Have any of you ran into this situation or know of someone who did? |

Bridesmaids
& then there was 6!!!!!
Well ladies, I began this process with 8 girls. One was out of the picture along time ago, but this past weekend my MOH decided that she was not going to be in the wedding.
I think that it is because she does not like the dress that I picked, and I am not letting her have her way or adhering to her wishes. I really don't know. I'm kind of hurt by the situation, but everything happens for a reason. My mom told me when you are going through your up/happy moments in life that's when you find out who your true family and friends are. If you follow my blog a few post back I spoke of negative bridal party members. Well she was the one. I just thought that because she was my cousin and was so happy in the beginning that she would be no problem with the planning but her actions were the total opposite. Every time we have a meeting or anything pertaining to the wedding she is always so negative, and just rude. I guess if I look at it on the bright side that is one less person that I have to deal with...however she did indicate that she wants to be a hostess, but I don't think that will work either. Her daughter is suppose to be one of my flower girls, and we confirmed that she will still be in the wedding. Guess I will just have to see how that plays out. Just needed to vent a little. Ladies, let me tell you....I absolutely ADORE SHANNON a.k.a. mrshtobe. She turned my vision into a reality with my invites, and it was done in a matter of minutes, (OK, days but that's only because I kept making changes.)
She was so easy to work with, and within a few days she help me get something checked off my list. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my invites. Ladies what do you think??? |

TOMORROW MAKES 198 DAYS
STILL SO MUCH TO DO!!!!
My oh My....how time is surely flying by. Tomorrow marks 198 days until I am MRS. BOOKER and I cannot wait.
I am happy with where we are in our planning as we have gotten the majority of the big ticket items secure, but its the little details I see that's going to be a BIG PAIN. With 198 days remaing we still have to: * Decide on cake (FFIL has been dropping all kinds of hints that he wants to do our cake) * Decide on favors * Order my dress (will be complete 2/11/12 SO EXCITED) * Pick and order BM dresses (2/18/12) * Decide on invitations * Book wedding day transportation * Decide on honey/mini moon location * Hire DOC The things that I am REALLY anxious to have done ASAP is the decisions on the cake and invitations.
