Un-Even Wedding Party

So ladies in my last post I told you all about my MOH stepping down. Well with that being done we now have an uneven wedding party.

FH has asked me what am I going to do about that, should he let one of his guys go and my response was ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! His guys are excited about being in the wedding and I feel as though feelings would truly be hurt if we were to ask any of them to step down.

So with that being said, I told him that his 2 best men would walk in behind him, my Matron of Honor walks down by herself and everyone else will be perfectly paired, and for the recessional my MOH and his 2 BM can walk together which I think would be cute.

Ladies what do you think? Have any of you ran into this situation or know of someone who did?

I have an un-even wedding party with 5 girls and 4 guys. I could have had more but FH didn't have anyone else he wanted on his side and I didn't want it too uneven so I made 2 of my friends personal attendants to help out with the day. I think your idea is great! Since we are getting married on the beach it doesn't need to be so formal so I am having all the guys line up with the groom and girls walk down by themselves.
I think it will look great the way you have it :)

I agree. We have 5 girls and 3 guys. I chose to have just family, and have a huge family, my fiance just has a few really close friends. I think  the way you have them walking is perfect. :)

I agree with the ladies above. I too have an uneven wedding party ....5 girls and 4 guys(FH swears he has no friends) LOL! I think you will be fine with the way you have planned it! Doesnt seem crazy to me and at the end of the night...after food and booze...who will actually remember who escorted who? lol!

I think it's fine. Its your wedding, you do what you want. There are no rules for who has to walk with who. I have seen it different ways. My FH has 1 Best Mab and 3 Groomsmen. I have 1 MOH and 3 Bridesmaids. The MOH and Best Man will walk together, 1 Groomsmen and 1 Bridesmaid will walk together, and then 1 groomsmen will just have a bridesmaid on each arm (like a pimp lol). So you are not the only one with an uneven wedding party.

Definitely okay! I have 5 girls and FH has 2 guys at this point- may ask one more. But that's who he wanted with him and we'll just double up the bridesmaids to groomsmen when they walk out. I just wanted to make sure we had the most important people up there, regardless of how odd the pairings would be :)

I also have an uneven bridal party, I have 3 bm's and my honey has 2 and then we both have a jr.  It's fine we are just going to have one guy to 2 girls, I don't think he will mind lol!

I may, or may not end up with an uneven party. Right now I have officially asked 6 girls, but one may not be able to buy her dress on time (after I've already pushed the timeline back for her). If she doesn't meet it, then I'm afraid she can't be in the wedding. FI has asked 5 guys, and can't think of another, so it may work out for the best in the end. If my BM comes through, however, we'll just have one groomsman walk with 2 ladies.. lol.

I have an uneven wedding party as well. Its ALOT bigger than most of u guys, i think 12 and 19...lol...there are more guys than girls! About 6 of my girls didnt meet the dress deadline. I say go for it!! If the guys are excited about participating, go ahead and let them. Everything will work out just fine.

I have an uneven bridal party as well. 6 girls and 4 guys. Our wedding is going to be just fine. At the end of the day it is all about my Fhubby and I. No stress= No worries.
