Transportation

So ladies I have 1 month and 6 days UNTIL MY WEDDING...OMG!!!!

Right now I am debating on transportation.

I really am not all that excited about having a limo or having my girls ride with me to the ceremony, or having the wedding party ride with us after the ceremony.

I would really like to get a nice luxury sedan so that after the wedding FH and I can have some time alone before we get to the reception maybe even go somewhere just him and I for pics.

Ladies what means of transportation are you using for your wedding??? Is your wedding party riding with you???/ Are you making a big fuss about the type of vehicle you will be using???

I'm debating if I want to have transportation.  I don't want to pay for transportation just to be dropped off at my venue since i'll probably be staying at a nearby hotel. Maybe i can catch the trolley to the venue...they are so cute & would make a nice pic. The reception is at the same location so we have no need to transport the wedding party. Depending on the price I may get a party bus for after the reception to go bar hopping downtown. I think the standard rental is 3-4 hours...but our reception ends at 12am...clubs in milwaukee close at 2:30am...not sure if it's worth it. But for the two of you...its your day so I say get a limo or sadan...how many other times will you actually do that for yourselves besides the wedding!!!

We decided to use that time for just us, husband and I, so we could spend time together and have a bit of time alone to get away from all the craziness, lol. Our wedding party was perfectly fine with it. We were supposed to have a black limo, but got a huge white excursion instead. (companys fault.) Wasn't happy about that, but we really did enjoy the time alone before the reception. Good luck deciding!!

We also went with a sedan from the church to reception venue, just because my dress was too big to fit in anything smaller.  We found a small company that specializes in airport transportation and they only charged us $25 since the trip was about 8 minutes long and a few miles between the two places.
The standard was that I found was $40-$50 each way.    A limo would have been more, but like phillysgirl5 said, it was nice to just have a moment to ourselves on the ride.

We are driving ourselves. He is going to ride with one of his groomsmen to the ceremony, and I'm driving my car. We will ride back in my car together. It's more intimate that way for us. The reason why he's riding separate to the wedding is because we will not see each other before the wedding.
