Ok so i have a problem. my inlaws are big drinkers! and at every party everyone always drinks, well my side of the family isnt to concerned about drinking. i just had some family on my in laws side say, if theres no hard liquor allowed we can cound them out >:O i was furious when they said this. everyone is pushing me to have the reception at my mother in laws house. which i DONT want to do! it is not a beautiful home and its not what i dreamed of! and no one on THAT side of the family understands. They just want to get drunk!i have been looking every where for a venue that allows alcohol and it is tough. so i am to the point where im about to say forget them! ill do it my way. its my wedding anyway. i am happy with beer, wine and margaritas. i dont want a bunch of drunk idiots at my wedding, which his family gets. am i making a bigger deal out of this then what it should be? what should i do? and is anyone else in the same place i am??

so im curious to know how many people are using a wedding planner and how necesary is it? found a great wedding planner at an extremely affordable price!! but im not for sure if i need to book her, i have all my vendors picked out, and am starting book all of them, my venue is booked. so i really dont know what i would need a wedding planner for, except for someone to step in during the rehearsal to organize it and let everyone know what they need to do, but im not sure if maybe just a friend could do this, what do yall ladies think, is it necesary to get one??

okay so ive been looking at my budget for my wedding and im not sure of what to do, how many of you are making your bridesmaids buy their dress and how many of you are paying for it?? the last wedding i went to i was the MOH and she had everyone pay for their dresses, but i think i feel uncomfortable doing this.. its MY wedding im inviting YOU, you shouldnt have to pay to come.. thats how i look it at, what do you girls think

okay so heres my problem, my in laws are suppose to help us with our wedding, we have been asking them since last decemeber and they keep blowing us off, well they want to invite like 200 people!! and i dont have the money to pay for all these people THEY want to invite, there is only 25 people on my side of the family that is going, and the rest is theres. i dont find it fair that my family is putting more money time and effort into this then them if its mostly there family, most of these people i dont even know! they dont relize all the costs that are going into this, i would rather have something small and go all out then do something big and have a super tight budget. i told my hubby (we got married in april but are having our wedding next year) that if this is how its going to be there is only 50-75 people invited and any extra his family can pay for. does this sound fair?? i know he feels pressured because he is unsure of what to do, and is taking my side as much as possible. my inlaws responsibility was to put down the deposit for the location, which is completely booked next year with only a few openings and i cant get them to budge, and we dont have all the money right now to fork over, we are raising 2 little girls at the same time. i dont know what to do if i should be the one to talk to my in laws or just forget them and do it my way and not worrie about there opinions

soo i went to davids bridal and tried on this dress and i absolutely loved it!! its gorgeous, has any body ever ordered a dress from periwing?? they are suppose to be whole salers from china that make wedding dresses, and they make this dress for an 1/8 of the price at the store, my friend told me about but has never tried it.

So i know there is still a year away for my wedding but i want to plan now and for some reason my inlaws think i am starting to early and are not putting any effort into this, do you think i may be starting to early??
