Im wondering for those brides who are having a Candy Buffet or already have, when are you starting to buy your candy? I cant figure out if its too early still for me or not for my wedding in August. I figured like suckers and fundips should be ok to order now, but what about gumballs or jelly bellies? I know I should wait on M&Ms i think because they are chocolate. I just dont want the candy to go bad, and am not sure if I should start ordering now or wait awhile.

I am excited I just finished my design for my LoveSavers I am going to have at my candy buffet. I wasnt planning on doing this, but found a template along with a few others and couldnt resist. It isnt all rigidity in person, not sure why its shown like that. Now just to find lifesavers at bulk!

I am browsing Targets website right now because me and my fiance registered there yesterday and came across this, and though it would be the cutest centerpiece for a black a white wedding! Its $19.99 and comes with whats pictured. You could even add some color to it, just wanted to share!

Not sure if its at all Targets, but I was just at my local Target and they had all their Apothecary Jars for clearance for $6.00. A great deal, as they were normally $24.99. I am having a candy buffet and was looking for cheap Apothecary Jars but having no luck. Some of you might want to call your local Target or go check it out if interested. They are Elements brand, the one in the picture is the one I purchased. I got two, not sure what I will put in for sure, thought about my gumballs like the other picture.

We are having 3 dinner options for our wedding (fiances choice)...Chicken, fish, and beef. How do I go about this with place cards? Different colors, ribbons? And when you put Mr. and Mrs. so and so and they want two different food choices, what do you do then? Then there is a family of 6 coming 2 parents and 4 kids, do I give them each there own place card? or since they will basically take up almost a whole table just say the " " family? Im so confused on how to go about place cards with the waiters knowing whos getting what, like with couples with one place card, how do they know which side there g/f,b/f or spouse is sitting on? ahhhh meltdown! Help! lol

So lately I feel like I have no life outside of my house, Michaels, and Jo Ann Fabrics,lol. Today I painted my letters for my sign at my candy buffet. This week I will finish the project, I will be putting each letter on a wodden doll and having them at different heights onto a stand. I am very happy with the way they turned out! I will post pictures when it is completely finished.

Ok so this is only a small problem I am having, Thank god. But it has to do with my wedding invitations. I had purchased my stardream quartz paper to use for the invites and had a sample color copied on their laser printer at staples (it looks great), anyways I am putting three rhinestones on each of the invitations itself. I had already boughten the rhinestones, they are ones where you take a paper of the back and they are sticky. They worked perfect with my other regular piece of paper when I first started making invitations so I was excited. Well I tried sticking them to my new paper, the stardream quartz, and guess what? They WONT stick because the paper is shiny I guess. So I am not sure what to use to paste or glue them on. Does anyone have any ideas on what to use on this type of paper to make the rhinestones stick permanently? I am kind of freaking out because I dont have a ton of time before they need to get out, and its alot of work just to put them together.

Ok, so after seeing vixysticks wedding page and how she is having a Disney Wedding at Disneyland made me want to incorporate disney more into mine. I was going to incorporate disney in the first place but its been kinda forgotten with all the stress of the wedding planning, but now with most of the stuff behind me I want to think of some ideas.

We were engaged in Disney World, which is my favorite place. Some people think I'm crazy for loving Disneyworld so much, but I cant help it, I LOVE it! Its just so happy. When we first got engaged we talked about having our wedding in Disneyworld, but with a budget and not everyone being able to go we decided against it. But I do believe I convinced my fiance to go back on our first year anniversary! :)

Ok, so I need help with Ideas on how I can incorporate Disney and Mickey Mouse into my wedding with all of the other stuff I have done. Looking at my page you can see I did my own invitations, so my theme is kinda flowers and swirls. So i'm not sure how to make it look good and not having my wedding be scattered with different themes. I thought about having some candy that is Mickey Mouse in my candy buffet but all I can find is Mickey Mouse shaped mints, anyone know of any mickey shaped candy? Also I thought about having Hidden Mickeys like The Parks do, and some kind of sign for guests to find them.

My main question is about the table numbers/names:
Do you think if I named the tables after Disney Characters or rides at the parks it would be corny at my wedding, since it isnt entirely a Disney Wedding? And if I do table numbers, what can I incorporate that is disney with a number? Like a friend I just went to had a Chicago Bears theme wedding, so she had the table numbers as bears players, the actual number was their player number, then they had the name under neath. I find it personally easier to find a table by a number instead of a name, but Im not sure how Disney can be worked into that. Now that I think about it, we have a picture with about every disney character we took when we went to Disneyworld when i got engaged so I could use these on the table number also. Any Ideas? Any Disney and Mickey Mouse ideas through out my wedding wouldbe so helpful, if you have been, seen, or are having a disney wedding. Thank you so Much!

I was working on monograms last night for the bellyband of my pocketfold invitations. I'm not sure if they are any good, I want to incorporate them with the wedding colors and the rest of the invite, so I put the flower in there. I want to have it be a square, but I like the simple one the most, but when put into a square its so small so I'm not sure what to do or what to add. I figured I'd print these out 2"x2" and put them on a peice of cardstock backing in turquoise or lime depending on what color ribbon I get. I'm just not sure if I like them or If I should keep experimenting with more.

I have started buying gifts for my bridesmaids incorporating the colors. Bath and Body works had an awesome coupon the last couple weeks that I was able to use that was for a free item up to $11 with any purchase. So you could buy a $1 giftbag and get anything up to $11 for free! Wow did I get my girls a ton of stuff, with barely spending anything. I think the total I spent was $10 on each girl and I got them all a cucumber melon shower gel, a turquoise loufa, A true blue Pedicure giftset, a nail file, a pair of aloe socks, and a japanese cherry blossom candle. it was amazing, and I am going to miss that coupon,lol. My Bath and Body works was great, they let me use as many coupons as I wanted in seperate transactions because they knew I was getting it all for my bridesmaids! I Heart Bath and Body works! I also got the girls bags from american eagle, and tank tops for pjs, and soffe shorts. Frames from things remembered that I got engraved with their initials that also came in my colors and some turquoise glitter flip flops for the reception! I got so lucky with everything so far, I got my girls alot more than I was going to because of that coupon from B&BW's. Now I need to get jewerly, which I think I am going to get pearls with the ribbon to tie that I have seen someone makes. Its so much fun to buy for others!!!

I bought these square frames at our local dollar general store for a dollar for our table numbers. I wanted square frames, so once I saw them I bought them! I am though trying to figure out how or if I should decorate them? I bought some mod-podge thinking I could print out a bunch of little pictures of me and my fiance and mod-podge them to the frame with some other things i can print out in our colors and such. I am not sure if I should use ribbon somehow, or just leave them plain. I also am not sure which stand to use or just not use a stand. The stands were bought at joann fabrics using coupons so they were cheap. I thought maybe even getting some of both and using them both, but do you think I should even bother with them and just leave the frame stand on its own? I need advice on what to do and how to decorate! Thanks!

I am almost finished designed my invitations. I designed everything myself on Photoshop, even though its taken awhile, I think its worth it in the end knowing I did it all myself and I love the pocketfold Invitations! Im still working on finding the perfect fonts though and the colors arent exact yet. I am going to have copies made at staples with my own metallic paper I bought and add rhinestones also. The Staples guy has been wonderful to work with and I have already printed out samples of my invites and they looked great! I am having a hard time though making a monogram for the belly band which Im still working on, is anyone good at making monograms? I want to make a square one, even though I have a circle cutter. Any advice would be great!!!

My favor boxes are almost done! I bought the takeout boxes from papermart.com at a very good price, cheapest I could find. Then designed the labels on photoshop and I am going to print them out on sticker sheets and use my new favorite circle paper cutter I got from Michaels! Then Im adding a rhinestone in the center flower, and some ribbon of my colors. I think they turned out great :)

I have been searching for small gourmet or candy bags for my candy bar. I wanted to get half takeout boxes and half bags because some of the things wont fit into the take out boxes. I want the dimensions to be smaller though like 3.5 x 6.5 or so. I found some at Michaels craft but they fold out, I'd rather have ones like the picture, like gourmet bags but cant seem to find them the right size or color! Does anyone know where I can find them?

Im so excited for our trolley, well everyone is. it will take us to the church, around for pictures, and to the reception. I really love the blue and white! Isn't it cute!

I want to make my own DIY Monogram cake topper with crystals. I've been searching online trying to find letters for a decent price. Where is everyone who has done this getting your letters from? Can you recommend a website or store I can look at. Thanks so much!

We also booked a Photobooth thru our DJ which will give guests alittle something extra to bring home to remember our special day. We are going to have a coat hanger outside of it with lots of hats and boas, and a prop box to make it alittle bit more fun! They are going to change the curtain also to match out wedding colors.

Frank had it all planned since Christmas 2006, he had known I wanted to go to Disney World (I am a huge Disney fan) so he suprised me for Christmas with a trip to Disney World. We were staying at the Port Orleans - Riverside Resort and It was our 3rd night down there i believe, we got back late from mgm studios and there was a fountain I wanted to take a picture of us infront of that was near our room. Well a bus load of people just got to the resort and were making there way to their rooms, and then some girl on her cell phone kept hanging out around us taking on her phone so I said we can do this tomorrow. He kept saing we can wait a few more minutes, granted we've been waiting for this girl now to leave for like 20 minutes,lol. So I kinda thought something was fishy because he is not the one to want to wait, so she finallly left and he got down on his knee. It was very cute, he was nervous. He said he wanted to wait till the next day when we were at Magic Kingdom but he has been carrying that ring in his pocket the entire day waiting for the right time and didnt want to go thru that all over again, stressing out about loosing the ring. hehe

Booked - Pictures of our reception site, kind of dark but an idea. Its nice a big and fiance loved it being Harry Caray's with lots of baseball pictures!

Bought - We're not doing the traditional guestbook, we are going to have a personalized Chicago Cubs Jersey with the last name and year.  Guests will sign that then we will get it professionally framed.  It will be something we will enjoy more and hang on the wall than a dusty ole guestbook which I will probably put in a drawer.
